In the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) she served in the IDF theater.
She speaks Hebrew and Russian.
In 2011 she married actor Yuval Yanai , and they have 2 children.
In 2006 she played Loret in the play "The Summer" by Roman Weingarten directed by Udi Ben-Moshe , and for her performance in this play she won the Israeli Theater Award for the most promising actress.
At the Herzliya Ensemble Theater in 2007 , she acted in the play "Black Rain" written and edited by Shimon Bozaglo and arranged, musically composed and directed by Ofira Hanig.
Michal majored in acting at the Tel Aviv University Theater Department. Very soon after graduating, she became a member of the Khan Theatre ensemble in Jerusalem.
At the Beit Lisin Theater she played in 2008 Ruth in the play "Alma and Ruth" by Goren Agmon directed by Micha Levinson.
As part of her acting studies, she participated in the play "Tristan and Isolde in Warsaw" written and directed by Lilac Dekal-Avneri at the " small stage " festival in Tel Aviv.
In 2004 she studied at the theater department of Tel Aviv University.
Stemmler was born in Holon to parents who immigrated from the Soviet Union.
