Shondrae "Bangladesh" Crawford has made some of the biggest hip-hop and R&B hits of the past decade. His résumé is diverse and potent. Bang's breakthrough came in 1998, when he was introduced to Ludacris through Dtp member Lil Fate, whose cousin just so happened to be Bangladesh's best friend.
Crawford crafted a bulk of Luda's independent debut, Incognegro, including what would turn out to be his breakthrough smash, "What's Your Fantasy." Since then, 'Desh has supplied beats to fellow Atlanta artists, such as Gucci Mane, Ciara, Sean Garrett and Usher. He's also branched out to the likes of Mario, Beyoncé and none other than R. Kelly.

Ludacris is riding high off the success of his seventh album, Battle of the Sexes, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard albums chart. The concept album, however, is just one in a slate of projects he's readying for release this year.
"Details are sketchy, but [my next album], it's called Ludaversal," he told HoneyMag.com for the cover of their March issue. "You'll probably have it at the end of 2010 or somewhere at the beginning of 2011."
Luda and his Disturbing Tha Peace contingent are celebrating their 10-year anniversary this year, and he told MTV News recently that the benchmark has recharged him. In 2000, he broke on the scene powered by "What's Your Fantasy?" the breakout hit from his major-label debut, Back For the First Time.

New York — According to Ludacris, there's just too much testosterone in hip-hop.
So with his forthcoming Battle of the Sexes album, the Atlanta rapper decided to inject what he felt was a much-needed dose of femininity into the discussion.
"It's such a male-dominated industry that I feel like females need more of a voice, so we wanted to hear more of what the hell they had to say," Luda told MTV News about the album concept. "With that being said, I went out and got women from the past, the present and the future — everyone from Lil Kim, Eve, Trina, Nicki Minaj. I got records where I'm talking about women ... and where women are talking back to me.
