Sean T. Doolan
A New York City native now residing in Los Angeles, Sean T. Doolan is
an honors graduate of Georgia State University's English Literature and
Film programs. The one-time teacher has enjoyed considerable writing
success in the genres of short fiction (his works have appeared in a
wide range of respected literary periodicals), popular music (with
compositions recorded by a variety of independent artists, notably
Glass Candle Grenade's college radio smash This Town), legitimate
theater (the insightful dark comedy, St. Patrick's Revenge), and in
digital media. An accomplished musician and actor, Sean's true passion
remains screenwriting and he is an active participant in events
sponsored by the Writers Guild of America, the Academy Foundation,
Independent Film Project, Creative Screenwriting, Gotham Writer's
Workshop, and other assorted filmmaking / screenwriting organizations.
Christmas for Daddy's Girl (heartwarming "tweener" holiday comedy),
Unholy Refrain (high-concept "rock n roll meets horror" thrill ride),
The Love Interest (culture-clashing romantic comedy), and Divinely, My
Dear (fantasy / urban fairy tale) are all original feature-length
screenplays. Sean is currently in the process of editing his first
novel, in addition to preparing exciting new projects for both
television and feature film.
