Priscila Amescua was born in Mexico City and has a film career that spans almost 20 years, including working closely with legendary filmmakers Alejandro González Iñárritu, Alfonso Cuarón and Guillermo del Toro. From Emerson College, she earned her BA in theater and film studies and received filmmaking training from Frames Per Second, Emerson's oldest film organization.

In early 2023, Priscila was a producer of LIBRE DE REIR, a comedy TV series for MGM Studios and Amazon Prime Video. In 2022, she was the production supervisor of Y CÓMO ES ÉL?, the highest-grossing Mexican film of 2022. She was the executive of production and operations for LUIS MIGUEL: THE SERIES, starring Diego Boneta (TERMINATOR: DARK FATE, FATHER OF THE BRIDE) and was Latin America's #1 Netflix series in 2021. From 2019 to 2020, Priscila was the production supervisor for two feature films, MISS GRANNY and BACKSEAT DRIVER. In 2018, she was the production supervisor for eight episodes of the Amazon Original series called AN UNKNOWN ENEMY.
Priscila has career experience at some of the top film and TV companies in Mexico, including the director of operations at Gato Grande (an MGM company), production manager at NBC Telemundo Sports for the 2022 Qatar World Cup, junior manager at NBC Telemundo for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and festivals coordinator for Ithaca Films. She was instrumental in helping Iñárritu, Cuarón and del Toro create the LLC Cha Cha Cha, which was the production company behind the iconic feature films, BIUTIFUL (Javier Bardem) and RUDO Y CURSI (Gael García Bernal, Diego Luna).
Priscila was the recipient of the Berlinale Talent Campus Award and the British Council's International Young Creative Entrepreneur Award.
