Kowloon Walled City — one of Hong Kong’s most famous landmarks, or infamous trouble spots, depending on your point of view — fell prey to the developers’ bulldozer 30 years ago. But it remains an icon of the territory’s gritty spirit and is being painstakingly re-created for action thriller feature “Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In.”
The film is a beacon for how Hong Kong cinema is now evolving. Directed by hot-shot Soi Cheang, whose “Mad Fate” recently played in Berlin and is set for imminent local release, “Twilight” boasts leading stars Louis Koo, Sammo Hung and Richie Jen, plus emerging talents Philip Ng, Raymond Lau and Terrance Lau.

Back at the end of March, HeyUGuys were invited back over to Belfast to visit the set of Disney’s The Lodge during the filming of the second season of the hit Disney Channel TV show. We had the pleasure of a complete tour of the set of the show that garnered the Disney Channel their highest rated series debut in the past four years as well as time with members of the cast for a chat.

At the end of the first series, The Lodge left us on a major cliffhanger, Skye (Sophie Simnett) found herself torn, having to choose between Ben (Luke Newton) and Sean (Thomas Doherty) with both boys receiving that all important text, Danielle (Bethan Wright) let her jealousy subside for a brief second to persuade her mother to let the outside gig go...

An open casting is being held in Belfast for two new characters to join the cast of Cbbc's Dani's Castle.
Series 3 of Dani's Castle will be filmed entirely on location in Co.Down, Northern Ireland and the producers at Foundation TV are specifically looking for talent in Northern Ireland.
If you fall into the age bracket below, then the makers of hit Cbbc comedy Dani’s Castle would like to hear from you.
Female: Aged 16-20 (to look 18)
Male/Female: aged 12 to 14 (to look 12/13)
Previous acting experience preferred but not essential.
The open casting will take place on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th June in Belfast. Please note that no one will be admitted without being given a specific date and time slot – and their names must be added to the audition list in advance.
