Zoomers, particularly those on TikTok, are really good at making previously lauded white men seem remarkably uncool. This is a curse that has now befallen Justin Timberlake, the once pop prince.
At the turn of the century, Timberlake dominated every facet of pop culture. He was the de facto breakout star of dominating boy band *Nsync and the boyfriend of pop princess Britney Spears. When both those parts of his life ended in uniquely dramatic fashions, he spun it into solo superstardom. Twenty years ago this fall, he made his mark with Justified.

If you’ve spent any time on social media over the past decade, you’re likely familiar with the Minions, the adorable, rotund yellow henchmen figures popularized by Illumination Entertainment’s hugely successful Despicable Me franchise. In the movies, with the latest entry Minions: The Rise of Gru opening July 1, the Minions serve as sidekicks to the archvillain Gru (voiced by Steve Carell) and exist solely to do his bidding. Yet on the internet, particularly Facebook, they’re frequently used in boomer memes and have become shorthand for a certain type of cringe content,...

Terri, Bindi, and Robert Irwin celebrated Steve Irwin Day at the Australia Zoo in Queensland on Wednesday. The late conservationist and TV personality, who passed away in September 2006, was honored by zoo staff, guests, and country singer Troy Cassar-Daley, who were all asked to wear beige in a nod to Steve's signature khaki uniform. Steve's wife, Terri, now owns the zoo and was all smiles while posing with her kids, 19-year-old Bindi and 13-year-old Robert, who is clearly the spitting image of his dad. Bindi tweeted out about the exciting event on Tuesday, writing, "Today we remember all that Dad achieved for wildlife [and] wild places around the world," adding, "He taught me that we must all treat animals the way we wish to be treated. I think that his advice applies to both animals and people. Be kind. In every part of life." Related23 Beautiful Photos Bindi Irwin Has Shared of Her Late Father,...

Robert Irwin is becoming somewhat of a regular on The Tonight Show, and we're hoping it never stops. The son of the late Steve Irwin stopped by the show on Thursday, where he brought along a few of his exotic animal friends for host Jimmy Fallon to play with. The incredibly sweet and enthusiastic 13-year-old first talked about his uncanny resemblance to his dad when Jimmy showed the audience a side-by-side photo of the two at the same age. He then brought out the animals, including a "friendly" scorpion named Jane, baby black bears named D9 and Flow, and legless lizards named Lulu and Fluffy. Aside from one of the baby bears continuously trying to bite Jimmy, the entire thing will put a smile on your face.

Lawrence Weschler lowers his voice to a whisper whenever he mentions the names David Hockney and Robert Irwin in the same sentence. Weschler, who has written books and essays on both artists, has gotten into trouble for comparing them in the past. Anytime he publishes something about one, he immediately gets a call from the other complaining about whatever was said. Their dispute isn’t personal — Hockney and Irwin have never met — but they have been waging what may be the greatest meta-catfight in art history. They have been taking swipes at each other, via Weschler, ever since he came out with his much-beloved biographical portrait Seeing Is Forgetting the Name of the Thing One Sees: Over Thirty Years of Conversations With Robert Irwin in 1982. When Hockney first read the book, he was compelled to call its author to tell him that everything in it was wrong, but that...

Bindi Irwin is changing up her look! The daughter of the late Steve Iriwn showed off her brunette new 'do via Instagram on Saturday. Posing with her younger brother, Robert Irwin, the 16-year-old looks much more mature with her dark locks and bold eyeliner. While we're used to seeing the Crocodile Hunter's daughter with her signature sandy blonde locks, we think her new hair color is a fun change. Bindi also shared a sweet message on the social network for her brother. "This boy is my world ❤," she posted along with the cute candid. Clearly, these siblings are super close to one another! Justin Lyons, the cameraman who was with Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin in the final moments of his life, recently recounted what exactly happened in the incident that caused his death.
Steve Irwin's Final Moments Revealed
In his interview with Australian talk show Studio Ten, Lyons said that on the day of Irwin's death, they had been in the process of filming a documentary feature called Ocean's Deadliest in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. They couldn’t find any Tiger Sharks, but when they came across a typically docile stingray, the two decided to shoot some footage for another project.
“This one was extraordinarily large. It was 8-foot-wide. Massive,” said Lyons. “Stingrays are normally very calm. If they don’t want you to be around them, they’ll swim away. They’re very fast swimmers.”

Bindi Irwin Reveals SeaWorld Partnership
Irwin, now 15, appeared on Good Morning America Thursday with her mother Terri Irwin, 49, and younger brother Robert Irwin, 10, where she revealed the new business venture.
"We are so thrilled to finally be joining SeaWorld on a brand new initiative called Generation Nature,” Bindi Irwin told co-anchor Robin Roberts. “Which is all about encouraging kids to get involved and become game changers for wildlife and wild places.”
"I’m so excited to be carrying on in Dad’s footsteps,” the budding actress and TV host added. “And making sure that everything he worked so hard for continues for the generations to come.”
By aligning herself and her family with SeaWorld, Bindi Irwin has given cause to animal rights activists – both the organized and the casual – to speak out.
