Occasionally, my boyfriend [Nick Carpenter] I would go back," she revealed. "I was still in touch with Hef—and then we kind of lost contact." And when you get Vogue cover, it's a build in your career... a stepping stone to achieve that." The Seven network has dropped gameshow The Price Is Right less than a year after it rejuvenated the program.
The long running international franchise – it was first seen in Australia on Seven in 1957 – is being bumped for an extra half hour of news from the 4.3opm bulletin.
Game show host veteran Larry Emdur has fronted the program since March last year, but will stay with Seven for his main gig – The Morning Show with Kylie Gillies.
The show also ran on Seven – fronted by the late Ian Turpie – from 1981 to 1986.

Larry Emdur has been connected to a revamped version of The Price is Right. The breakfast television presenter, who currently hosts The Morning Show alongside Kylie Gillies, is believed to be in talks to front the old game show when it returns after the original host Ian Turpie passed away last week. According to The Daily Telegraph, The Price is Right is scheduled to air on weekday evenings on the Seven Network later this year. A Seven insider said: "He's the logical choice and, talk is, the only real choice at this stage." However, Deal or No Deal host Andrew O'Keefe has suggested that Emdur would be too busy to take on the role. He said: "I think Laz has a bit on his plate at the moment, but he does have a particular fondness for the razzle dazzle of the game (more)...

From the advertising dollars to the ratings rivalry – television’s earliest timeslot is big business. Brooke Hemphill sets her alarm and goes on set to find out the perfect recipe for making breakfast TV.
It’s after midnight on a Thursday evening in Sydney’s Cbd. The streets are largely deserted as the final day of the working week looms. While the nine to five set are safely tucked up in bed, in the heart of the city, Seven’s Martin Place studio is quiet, although never sleeping. Several journalists staff the newsroom on the first level and one flight of stairs above, two producers work the overnight shift for Seven’s market-leading breakfast program, Sunrise. Soon they will be joined by line producer David ‘Dougie’ Walters who is about to begin his day.
At a time when hospitality workers and university students contemplate calling it a night, Walters is at his desk.
