Find out what the glam gals had on from head to toe!
On last night’s episode of Gossip Girl, ‘War at the Roses,’ Blair celebrated her 20th birthday with a huge bash and the guest list included her Dean, her professors, and Rachel Zoe (to name a few). While I wasn’t impressed with last night’s episode — (maybe it’s cause most 20-year-olds don’t have the Dean of their University and cookies shaped like their favorite pairs of shoes at their big bash) — luckily the clothing was consistent.
Serena’s (Blake Lively) ridiculously predictable behavior and comments totally annoyed me last night. For starters, confiding in Juliet is obviously the dumbest thing she could do — and call me crazy, but if you’re trying to stay away from a guy (especially if he’s your professor) dropping by his office with books and coffee in teeny minis...

"Little Deaths has taught us all so much," filmmaker Sian Davies enthuses. "It's been a labour of love and bloody-minded determination that's got it to this point. We've all learned so much and it feels fantastic that a project born of sheer passion and somewhat naïve ambition has grown with us all to finally find its place in the world. God I sound like a parent," she laughs. One can understand why Davies is so proud of the project that has finally been given a cinema release. The first meetings for Little Deaths - between the core creative group of writer Giula Sandler, directors Ben Chessell and Chris Benz - began back in 2003.

DigiSPAA winner Little Deaths will receive a limited theatrical release at Cinema Nova in Melbourne.
The film, produced by Jason Byrne and featuring eleven shorts written by Giula Sandler, will begin this limited engagement on November 4.
In Little Deaths, each story comments on and adds to the ones that came before and after. As a feature film, the story of the lonely tollbooth operator (Abe Forsythe) provides the thread that joins the interweaving tales. Whilst he imagines the love stories of those who pass through his toll gate, he discovers one of his own to explore and ultimately, the stories help guide him toward true love.
The shorts were directed by Ben Chessell, Sian Davies, Melanie Brunt, Giula Sandler, Chris Benz, Fin Edquist, Jarrah Gurrie, Genevieve Bailey, Geoff Hitchins, James Teh and Toby Angwin. The cast includes Magda Szubanski, Adam Zwar, Alexandra Schepisi, Abe Forsythe and even Animal Kingdom director David Michod.

Designer Chris Benz is at the forefront of American fashion, and this New York Fashion Week he presents his 12th—and perhaps most important—collection to date. Yours truly visited his airy atelier on West 37th Street, in New York City, and found out, among other things, that this young American design prodigy has clearly mastered the art of “fashion-speak.” George Wayne: Would you agree that your spring-summer 2011 collection is probably your most pivotal to date? Chris Benz: Yes, this is my 12th collection, and it is a very important one. Talk about the inspiration for spring 2011. I'm calling this my Shelley Duvall/Lauren Hutton collection. It's about that on-the-go girl who has always inspired me. It's all about a girl on a Vespa, in a romper, the hair flying, all of that. It's that 60s Parisian expat kind of chic. There is a definite 60s, early 70s Parisian chic going on.

Find out how she decided on her get-up for the Young Hollywood Awards!
I always admire how confident Nikki Reed looks on the red carpet — whether she’s in a fun floral frock or opts for something more sexy chic, she totally owns her look. And behind every great get-up is help from her amazing stylist, Jessica Paster! Jessica helped Nikki get red carpet ready for the Young Hollywood Awards on May 13. “We tried at least 20 dresses,” she said, before they chose the gorgeous Chris Benz mini, paired with open-toed Nicholas Kirkwood pumps. “There was something so effortless and light about it against her skin.” Jessica said the two have a very open, collaborative relationship, and while Nikki can pull off many different looks, her goal for dressing the star stays the same. “I just want her to look beautiful, effortless, fun and age appropriate.”

Do you party with Your mom?
Eva Amurri celebrated turning 25 by drinking and dancing into the wee hours of the morning with her Bff – her mom! But because her mother is none other than Susan Sarandon, we’re completely Ok that the mother and daughter are also party partners-in-crime.
After chowing down at NYC’s Nobu TriBeCa, the Californication starlet and her 63-year-old mom – clad in matching ‘burlesque-themed’ dresses with exposed black bras – hit Meatpacking District hot spot 1Oak.
After downing several Akvinta cocktails, at around midnight, Eva’s friends and family – who also included brother Miles Robbins, designer Chris Benz and NYC social director Andrew Saffir – gathered around a 3-tiered, pink, burlesque-themed cake to sing Eva, who’s actual birthday is today, March 15, ‘Happy Birthday’.
“Eva danced with friends until the wee hours of the morning, but Susan was having a blast too!” one partygoer tells HollywoodLife.

Allison Sarofim's 2008 Halloween. Clockwise from top left: Jean Pigozzi and Stuart Parr, social fixture Allison Sarofim, designer Chris Benz, interior designer Carlos Mota, Sony exec Rob Wiesenthal, and actress Kim Raver. From PatrickMcMullan.com. Where will you be for Halloween? That's the question that fashionable partygoers are asking instead of the more traditional What? And with good reason, because this year the holiday falls on a Saturday night, and there are more celebrations than ever to choose from.

Last night at New York City's big Whitney Art Party blowout, there was plenty of discussion about art—and not just about the kind hanging on the walls in the silent auction: sartorial sculptures seemed to dominate the conversation. In fact, for days leading up to the event, talk always seemed to turn to obsessing over Art Party outfits. At Bergdorf Goodman on Tuesday for the launch of Lauren Bush's new Kenya Feed bag, one gal discussed the dress that her friend designer Chris Benz had lent her for the big night. Rumors circulated about Thakoon's phone ringing of the hook with pals asking him if they could borrow frocks. At the Chéri premiere earlier in the week, girls on the Whitney party committee chatted about the itty-bitty Herve Leger numbers that they had selected weeks ago. But once Wednesday night rolled around, it was the shoes, not the dresses...

Gwyneth Paltrow and Joaquin Phoenix posed together on the red carpet at a Ferragamo hosted screening of their new movie Two Lovers in NYC last night. Gwyn had on another daring outfit while Hilary Duff was happy to be there. Joaquin managed to suit up for the cameras including that of Casey Affleck who is still documenting Joaquin's recent career change from acting to rapping. Earlier in the evening Joaquin stopped by Letterman, though he wasn't much up for chatting. You have to see it to believe it - video after the jump - Joaquin barely answered anything Dave asked which left the talk show host in an awkward position. At one point Phoenix put his gum on the underside of Dave's desk. Joaquin has made it clear he's not messing around with his new rap career, though he might want to think about his interview strategy if he wants to be taken seriously.
