Match #1: Gunther def. Matt Riddle The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
With the rest of his Imperium teammates barred from ringside, Intercontinental Champion Gunther took on Matt Riddle in a non-title match. Gunther and Riddle traded submission attempts to start the match, with Gunther applying a sleeper hold followed by a triangle hold attempt by Riddle. Riddle’s early momentum was derailed by a huge chop from The Ring General, followed by a body slam onto the mat outside of the ring. As Gunther beat down Riddle, The Original Bro withstood the punishment, attempting to get the victory after a ripcord knee. Gunther did not need Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci with him, defeating The Original Bro a huge Powerbomb.

While there may be many things I love about the tabletop industry, the marketer in me has always struggled with the distribution model. Since many publishers rely on crowdfunding to presell their products, promotions are often frontloaded years in advance. Many high-profile board games get expensive explainer videos and reviews before the campaign's launch; by the time the game is finally in the hands of the players, the needs of the industry have moved on.
Throw in the impact of a global pandemic and ongoing supply chain issues, and every end-of-year list is equal parts access and accomplishment. So, to take the guesswork out of this Best of 2022 list, we are borrowing a page from everyone's favorite social media oligarch and letting vox populi rule the day. As a result, our version of the Best Board Games of 2022 list will list, in order, the 22 games from 2022 that finished highest in BoardGameGeek's overall rankings.

Match #1: Alexa Bliss def. Bayley The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Prior to Alexa Bliss’ high-stakes match against Bayley, Becky Lynch suddenly emerged to unleash a surprise attack on Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai and sent the Role Model’s Damage Ctrl cohorts heading for the hills. As a result, Bayley was left alone to face The Goddess of WWE without backup to determine Bianca Belair’s next challenger for the Raw Women’s Championship. In the final moments, The Est of WWE grabbed an untied turnbuckle to prevent Bayley from cheating. In the commotion that followed, Bliss took control and hit Twisted Bliss for the huge victory. When it comes to drama in the ring, that’s what the WWE is all about! However, things can get a little cloudy when it comes to drama outside of the ring. Sometimes it’s hard to decipher what is true and what isn’t, as real-life drama is often shielded from the press. Matt Riddle was recently written off the programming of December 5th’s WWE Raw after reportedly being hospitalized with a nasty bunch of injuries. As a result, WWE announced that he would not be available for a match for at least six weeks. While this makes sense from a storyline

Match #1: WWE Tag Team Championship – The Usos def. Matt Riddle & Kevin Owens The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After Elias was taken out by The Bloodline before Monday Night Raw got underway, Matt Riddle was looking isolated. Luckily for him, he found someone who dislikes The Bloodline as much as he does in the form of Kevin Owens. Ko and The Original Bro started off well, with The Usos being unable to thwart the offensive onslaught from the get-go. The longest reigning tag team champions turned the tide until a huge Swanton Bomb from Ko nearly upset the pecking order. Meanwhile, inside the ring, Anderson picked up Bálor to try to put him away. A distraction by Dominik, though, allowed Ripley to deliver the low blow to Anderson that helped Bálor to pick up the three-count.

Cody Rhodes is looking to staff up his new All Elite Wrestling organization with some killer new talent -- and tells TMZ Sports he thinks Ufc fighters could be a real solid fit. Rhodes has teamed up with fellow wrestling superstars the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Tony Khan -- whose family owns the Jacksonville Jaguars and Fulham F.C. Together, they're launching the next major pro wrestling federation. It's got huge potential.

Love it or hate it, the Ufc knows what they're doing. With professional boxing fractured and star-less, the Ufc has stepped in as the de facto leader in dudes-pummeling-dudes entertainment. A big reason for this is Ufc President Dana White, who has masterfully shepherded the sport of Mma into the big time. The Ufc is packaged so precisely that it's hard not to be entertained by the product. One large feather in the cap of Dana White and company is The Ultimate Fighter, the SpikeTV Ufc reality show which features established Mma stars coaching up-and-comers in a season long tournament. The seventh season of The Ultimate Fighter debuts Wednesday, April 2 on SpikeTV and features a brand new format.
This season will feature middleweight fighters (171-185 lbs.), though the coaches are both light heavyweights. Current light heavyweight belt holder Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will coach one team, with contender Forrest Griffin coaching the other.
