At TV Fanatic, we've been fans of Lucas Bryant for a long time.
Best known to most of you as Nathan in the Syfy series, Haven, he's starring in a new Christmas movie on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
In support of that upcoming film we had an opportunity to jump on the phone with him all the way from Australia, where he's temporarily relocated with his family for a little normalcy in this world gone crazy.
Things may be a little of for a lot of us, but nothing has stopped Lucas from being a fun and entertaining guy. By the time we got off of the phone, my cheeks hurt from smiling so much.
When asked how he got involved with The Angel Tree, Lucas used his sense of humor for the answer. "Good question. It was one of those angel tree moments where I just put my wish on a tree.

Hollywood is still in a hugely reactive phase due to the Coronavirus pandemic, with virtually every project that was either filming or about to start rolling cameras getting halted, while the upcoming release schedule has essentially been wiped clean as the studios try to find new dates for their movies once the crisis is over.
Disney seem to be holding back on rescheduling the likes of Black Widow and Mulan until they have a better idea of when things will get back to normal, but Sony recently took the bold step of pushing back some of their biggest box office prospects until 2021, following the lead of Universal who moved their guaranteed billion dollar hit Fast & Furious 9 by almost a full year.

Yesterday, it was reported that Scott Derrickson was no longer helming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Having directed the first film, which was a critical and financial hit, the news was definitely a bit shocking.
In a statement, Marvel cited “creative differences” as the reason behind Derrickson’s exit. The filmmaker confirmed that the split was amicable in a tweet as well and he mentioned that he’ll remain as an executive producer on the sequel. But is that really the full story here?
Sources close to Wgtc – the same ones who told us Daniel Radcliffe is being eyed for Moon Knight and revealed that Marvel was working on a She-Hulk show way back in April – say that his firing from the movie was over issues with the horror aspects of the film. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige was apparently alright with having some horror elements, but Derrickson...

"Haven" will return for Season 5 in 2014, but star Emily Rose will keep busy until then with a recurring role on USA's "Graceland" Season 2.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Rose will play FBI Agent Jessica Foster. One of Mike's (Aaron Tveit) superiors at his job in Washington, Jessica is described as someone who seems like the consummate bureaucrat but who tends to bend the rules when necessary.
Considering the trouble people get into at Graceland, this is likely to be a very handy skill.
Two other roles -- one recurring and one to guest-star -- have also been cast for Season 2. Brianna Brown ("General Hospital") will recur as Kelly Badillo, the wife of murdered Juan Badillo (Mike's former handler, killed by Briggs in Season 1). Benito Martinez ("The Shield") will also appear in the new season, guest starring as Alfredo Armas, the head of the nefarious Caza Cartel.

NBC's ER has added four new cast members -- Shiri Appleby, Julian Morris, Emily Rose and Victor Rasuk -- for its upcoming final season.
The quartet will recur as new interns at County General Hospital on the medical drama, from Warner Bros. TV.
Appleby and Morris will play siblings Daria and Andrew Wade. Daria is a smart and eager to learn, while Andrew uses his looks, smarts and charm to get ahead.
Rose will play Tracy Martin, an ambitious intern who likes to control things, which often doesn't go over well with her superiors.
Rasuk was cast as Ryan Sanchez, a native New Yorker who's a tad nervous and is often found on his cell phone, fielding questions from his wife.
"The new group of young characters -- played by four charming and singular actors -- adds a burst of fresh energy and a bunch of different personalities for us to play off of as we enter our 15th and final season," executive producer David Zabel said.
