Yes, we love us some monsters, and first-time director Alex Murray just wrote in to make us aware of his latest creature flick from the UK, an indie opus with some teeth called The Last Man.
"I began writing The Last Man back in the winter of 2007, a process that took the better part of a year," says Murray. "During that time I was sitting down at my computer looking at the screen with a beer in my hands and deep desire in my soul: to make a compelling British indie creature horror."
Murray continues, "February 2008. With a completed script, we started casting. We were very fortunate that the material spoke to Alice Henley, of HBO’s award winning mini-series 'Rome'.
