Don't worry, The Orville isn't cancelled. In fact although it has already been renewed for season two, Fox is reducing the space dramedy's season one episode order from 13 to 12. It seems this has more to do with scheduling than anything else. TV Guide reports the lingering episode will be moved to the second season on Fox. A Fox sci-fi series, The Orville stars Seth MacFarlane, Adrianne Palicki, Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, Halston Sage, J Lee, Mark Jackson, Chad L. Coleman, Norm Macdonald, Larry Joe Campbell, Victor Garber, Brian George, and Rachael MacFarlane. Set in 2417, the story follows Ed Mercer (MacFarlane), the new captain of The U.S.S. Orville, his ex-wife, First Officer Kelly Grayson (Palicki) and the rest of the crew. Read More…...

'Crash' movie: Ryan Phillippe. 'Crash' movie review: California tossin' and turnin' Screenwriter Paul Haggis' multiple award-winning directorial debut, Crash, is set in a Los Angeles that is part Quentin Tarantino, part Paul Thomas Anderson, part Spike Lee, part Bret Easton Ellis. Haggis' L.A. also happens to be a place with precious little in common with the Southern California metropolis located on Planet Earth. In the film, Haggis and co-screenwriter Robert Moresco tell us – or rather, scream at us – that the Angeleno boiling (definitely not melting) pot is about to explode at any moment, as Los Angeles denizens spend all their spare time hating, fearing, misunderstanding, and cheating on one another. And perhaps much of that is true, except that most of that hate, fear, misunderstanding, and cheating have absolutely nothing to do with ethnic or national differences. But not in this particular L.A., situated in some warped La...

A handful of YouTube stars, Twitch streamers, and other creative types are involved in a new project on Instagram, but no video is involved. Instead, creators like Meghan Camarena appear in a series of high-quality photos, which together form a superhero whodunit dubbed #SpideyMurderMystery.
As its title suggests, the #SpideyMurderMystery takes place in the Marvel universe, with characters from the Spider-Man canon battling one another. Their struggles are photographed by Michael Becker across daily sets of nine images.
The mystery will unfold during the week of October 26th, with each daily photo set focusing on a specific character. Up first is Gwen Stacy, portrayed by Camarena; she’ll be followed by Yu Komori (stuntman Yoshua Sudarso), Silk (Joanna Sotomura), Mary Jane (Ashlyn Pearce), and Peter Parker (Twitch streamer Wesley Johnson). Our quote today comes from Steven H. Coogler, a man whom we rightly don’t know and can’t find out much about, except for this particular quote:

We’re then treated to a jaunty, slightly eerie soundtrack of Eastern European-sounding music, which may or may not end up having a place in this week’s episode.

Who can resist a well-told story about a boy and his dog? Just look at “My Dog Skip,” that sentimental tale where love and companionship know no bounds. Tonight, FX Networks will tap into that wonderful concept – only this time, it’s a little different: it’s a story of a boy, and his hot neighbor’s dog – who actually turns out to be a dude in a dog suit.

Elijah Wood shares the response to 'Wilfred'

His illustrious movie career, which includes "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy is also peppered with projects designed to keep him from being type-cast in the industry.
