Daisy Lewis is a British actress who trained with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and attended Kings College London where she
studied English Literature. Daisy has acted for the BBC in
Doctor Who (2005),
After You've Gone (2007) and
Miss Austen Regrets (2007), and has appeared as the guest lead in ITV's
Inspector Lewis (2006).
Doctor Who (2005) was directed by Academy Award winner
Julian Fellowes (Gosford Park). She has also
worked extensively with leading UK theatres including twice at the Royal Court Theatre in London . Before attending university she wrote
for The Sunday Telegraph and The Art Newspaper and she most recently produced the short film
Maria (2010) (aka Snap Shot); her second film
The Door (2011) (starring Charles Dance) shoots in May 2011.
