Daisy Lewis is a British actress who has demonstrated an interest in directing and writing as well. A lot of people will know her for playing the part of the outspoken Sarah Bunting on Downton Abbey, which is a role that resonated with her own thoughts and opinions. With that said, Lewis’s name has recently come up in the news because Tatler magazine wrote an article stating that Lewis seemed like she would be “fun in bed,” which was rather tasteless to say the least. As a result, Lewis spoke out about the issue on social media, thus prompting the

Daisy Lewis hates being called ''feisty''. The 'Downton Abbey' actress - who is set to make her debut on the ITV show as feminist school teacher Sarah Bunting this September - says she identifies in a lot of ways with her character, who stirs up trouble in the latest series by preaching her ''modern'' ideas, but would never refer to her using the term because of its sexist undertones. She told The Mail on Sunday's You magazine: ''Feisty? My least favourite word. Have you ever heard a man described as feisty? Have you ever heard a male character described as feisty? I...

Autumn is just around the corner, which means that Downton Abbey will soon return to our screens for its fifth series.
The 2013 Christmas special saw Mary being courted by two respectable gents, Molesley saving Mrs Baxter from Thomas's schemes, and Carson and Mrs Hughes holding hands!
With Richard E Grant and Sue Johnston joining the cast, what does the fifth series have in store as Julian Fellowes's ITV drama moves further into the 1920s?
1. The times they are a-changin'
Series 5 begins in 1924, bringing in a new dawn of Labour government. This shift in power became a great concern to the landowning classes, as a left wing party sympathetic to communism starts running the show. Lord Grantham (Hugh Bonneville) and Carson (Jim Carter) in particular are not too fond of the big changes that have come in the 1920s so far, and what it could mean for the future of Downton.

"Downton Abbey" is a smash hit on both sides of the pond, but who came up with the ingenious idea to bring some soapiness to the early 1900s?
In the new issue of Emmy Magazine, executive producer Gareth Neame said he and "Downton Abbey" creator Julian Fellowes developed the idea for the series over dinner. Neame said he asked Fellowes if he'd be interested in revisiting themes of his 2001 flick "Gosford Park," but with fast-paced, soapy stories. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Now entering its fourth season, "Downton Abbey" has become a smash hit with the Season 3 finale breaking ratings records on PBS. Neame said the secret to the show's success is the amount of players behind the scenes or rather, lack thereof -- Fellowes writes every episode by himself.

"The show is so popular around the world now," he said. "It's beloved, and it's in fine form.

Michelle Dockery - who plays Lady Mary - added that the majority of the "core cast" are signed up for a fifth series of Downton.

The Levinsons are coming to "Downton Abbey" for the Season 4 finale.
Paul Giamatti will make his first appearance as Harold Levinson, Cora's (Elizabeth McGovern) brother and Shirley MacLaine will return as their mother, Martha. The American actors were snapped on set filming a scene together.
"We're excited that Paul Giamatti will be joining us on 'Downton' to play Cora's brother Harold, the rather free-spirited uncle to Mary and Edith," Gareth Neame, managing director of Carnival Films, said in a statement. "We can't wait to see him work alongside Shirley MacLaine, who are both sure to upset the Grantham's apple cart in this year's finale.”
Giamatti is just one of the many new faces on "Downton Abbey" for Season 4. Daisy Lewis will play Sybil's new nanny, Gary Carr will play jazz singer Jack Ross and Tom Cullen, Nigel Harman, Dame Harriet Walter, Joanna David, Julian Ovenden and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa...

Sigh. Strum. Strum strum strum. Sing. Sigh. Isn’t life hard? In Alexandra McGuinness‘ feature debut, Lotus Eaters, it sure looks like it, though it also looks plenty pretty. The Dublin-born, London-based filmmaker’s film centers on a group of young, hip, and hot Londoners who are all struggling mighty hard with some big problems and obsessions (like drink, drugs, and heartache). Ain’t that always the way? The film’s cast includes a bunch of rising British stars, including Antonia Campbell-Hughes, Benn Northover, Liam Browne, Jay Choi, Daisy Lewis, and our strummer himself - Johnny Flynn, who is (of course) also the frontman for the folk-rock band Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit. Sigh. Strum. Rinse. Repeat. Soak in some champagne-drenched bourgeois ennui with the first trailer for Lotus Eaters, after the break. Lotus Eaters will open the film in New York on April 5th, with expansion to Los Angeles and VOD on April 12th. [Thompson on Hollywood]...

Push It Real Good: Prieto’s Glossy Facelift of Refn’s Cult Classic an Empty-headed Bauble
Spanish filmmaker Luis Prieto makes his English language debut with a remake of Nicolas Winding Refn’s 1996 landmark first feature, Pusher, a ballsy move, considering the original is a veritable cult classic and a story which Refn turned into a trilogy and has gone on to influence a new generation of filmmakers. And while Refn himself gave his blessing, and is actually an executive producer on the project, Prieto doggedly pursues the exact same trajectory as the original, replacing the gritty aesthetic with style, gloss, and models. Drug dealing in the London streets never looked so fanciful and glam rock as it does here, and when it comes time for the violent stripe of degradation to rear its head, there’s no bite, no tension, and no feeling.

The United Kingdom held the film premiere for Luis Prieto's Pusher October 4th. The premiere took place, appropriately, in East London at the Hackney Picture House. East London is the central setting for Luis Prieto's English remake of Pusher and many celebrities were in attendance. Richard Coyle, who plays Frank, was present along with his co-stars Agyness Deyn, Mem Ferda, and Daisy Lewis. In the above photo, Nicolas Winding Refn is seen left. Film fans might realize that Refn acted as director in the original 1996 film of the same name. Refn was an executive producer on this latest title. Daisy Lewis is seen on the inset from the left. Daisy plays minor character Danaka. As well, actor Mem Ferda is third in from the left and he acts as one of the villains in Pusher, Hakan. Agyness Deyn and Richard Coyle follow on the right. Coyle, of course,...

Pusher Poster, Photos. Luis Prieto‘s Pusher (2012) movie poster, movie photos star Agyness Deyn, Mem Ferda, and Richard Coyle. Pusher‘s plot synopsis: “As edgy and explosive as Nicolas Winding Refn’s 1996 cult classic, this English language remake tells the story of a week in the life of Frank, a big time drug pusher in London. Frank’s life is a fun-filled rollercoaster of a ride that soon spins out of control.
Friendships start to vanish, there is no longer room for love within his life, and violence takes over. Danger and chaos are all around and he becomes a man trapped in his own world. Eventually Frank is left with no one to turn to and nowhere to go, becoming a man paralyzed with the fear of knowing there is no way of preventing his inevitable fate.”

Yesterday we had the first image of Supermodel Agyness Deyn as Flo in new British movie, Pusher and today, there is a rather less sexy one of Richard Coyle who plays drug-dealer Frank in the movie. Coyle has previously been in the likes of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and more recently worked with Madonna on her new movie, W.E. He’s probably most well known for TV series Whistleblowers from 2007 where he played Ben Graham and also his work on BBC comedy Coupling from back in 2000-2002.
This so far is all we know of Pusher:
In London, a drug pusher’s (Coyle) life spins out of control over the course of one week.
Pusher also stars Bronson Webb, Mem Ferda, Zlatko Buric, Paul Kaye and Daisy Lewis and is directed by Luis Prieto and I believe will be released later this year.

Agyness Deyn may not be a name that you know so well for shooting movies but you may well know her from her catwalk modelling although you may recognise her from Clash of the Titans where she played Aphrodite. Her new movie is called Pusher and is currently in post production and will be released later on in the year. The official Twitter account for the movie has now released the first image of the beautiful actress and I have to say, it’s is rather raunchy!
Pusher stars Richard Coyle, Bronson Webb, Agyness Deyn, Mem Ferda, Zlatko Buric, Paul Kaye and Daisy Lewis and is directed by Luis Prieto.
Since it is rather sexy and therefore may not be safe for work Nsfw then I’ve put it on the next page, just click next to view.
