There’s been some executive shuffling at Spanish production and distribution heavyweight Mediapro, with Marta Ezpeleta named the new CEO of The Mediapro Studio (Tms), the group’s content production and distribution arm, replacing Laura Fernández Espeso, who will take over the role of CEO of the entire Mediapro group.
“Marta’s vision, professionalism and dedication have been instrumental to the Studio’s growth and global expansion,” said Espeso in a statement. “I have worked closely with her and am confident she will excel in leading our world-class production team.”
Ezpeleta joined Mediapro in 2019 after more than 20 years at The Walt Disney Company in Spain, where she oversaw content distribution and marketing for the region. At The Mediapro Studio, she has spearheaded the international distribution of hit series like The Head, Paraíso and Express. The company’s feature output includes The Good Boss with Javier Bardem and Official Competition starring Penélope Cruz and Antonio Banderas.

Here's a great Batman animated short film that I think you'll enjoy that was written and directed by Isaak Fernandez. The short is called Batman Chapter One - Help Me!!!, and it has a fun unique style. This is the first part of what looks to be a great Batman short. Here's what Fernandez had to say about the film and his inspiration behind it...
This is my first animated short film based on the Batman character. It took me three years to complete it during my spare time after work, weekends and holidays with only the help of my friend Javier Esteban to get the lighting in some shots. I could say that it was one of the best experiences ever. I always have been a huge Batman fan and I could say that this is my personal tribute to him and his world. My main references and inspiration...
