You know, if you are into this type of thing. Valiant recently announced a partnership with Dmg Entertainment to fund potential Valiant projects in film and television. This caused a stir in the comic book speculator market, because film and and to a lesser extent tv options, and now I guess funding announcements that benefit those causes, drive the backissue market more than any other factor.
I want to start with comics in the current Valiant universe. The 2012 relaunch.
I first want to make a basic statement for the possible uninitiated. All of the older comics, the pre-2012 output, has nothing to do with the current Valiant comics, with the sole exception of (I think) the Christopher Priest & Mark Bright Q2: The Return of Quantum & Woody.
