Charles Alan Jones was born in Terrell, Texas and grew up in the
neighboring town of Wills Point, Texas for the first 18 years of his
life. After receiving a
football and baseball scholarship from Lindenwood University in St.
Charles, Missouri, he attended the school as a two sport athlete for a
year but was dissatisfied.
Shortly after, he joined the United States Air Force in which he served for 8 years before moving to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of acting and filmmaking.
Graduated From Santa Monica College with a degree in film studies.
Attended the 2008 Cannes Film Festival with his film,Barry's Last Chance (2007), as a participant in the Short Film Corner.
Won the Audience Choice Award at the Cannes 24 Hour Film Challenge with the mockumentary film, Grand Cheveux (Big Hair).
Has worked on several projects with his production company, Cajones Films.
