- "Ese Instante-That Instant", her directorial debut, was "Audience Award Winner" in "Festival El Barbú". She also wrote it and acted in it, and it turned out to be a critically acclaimed short and one of the most watched shorts at Notodofilmfest.
- Chus de Castro co-directed "Love Crisis", also starring and written by her. "Love Crisis" won "Audience Award" in "Cortopatía Film Festival" (Madrid, Spain), "Special Jury Award" in "5th Certamen Internacional Roberto di Chiara" (Argentina) and "Special Jury Award" in "XXI Sguardi Altrove Film Festival" (Milan, Italy). "Love Crisis" got more than 60 nominations worldwide.
- Chus de Castro won Best Actress Award at "The Telde Cinexpress Film Festival" for her role in "Yo asi no levanto cabeza (Chopsticks)" directed by Assumpta Serna and written by Chus de Castro.
- Chus de Castro' screenwriting "Por Lo Que Más Quieras" made it to the final in the Official Selection at "The Cannes Golden Plume Screenwriting Competition 2018".
