Bluff City Law, Perfect Harmony and Four Weddings and A Funeral are among the new series heading to Canada’s Citytv. The Rogers Media-backed broadcaster has unveiled its fall schedule and its recent shopping purchases from the La Screenings.
The network has picked up Fox’s animated comedy Bless The Harts, Jimmy Smits legal drama Bluff City Law, Mindy Kaling’s reboot of Four Weddings and a Funeral, talkshow The Kelly Clarkson Show, ABC’s Mixed-ish, Bradley Whitford’s comedy Perfect Harmony, as well as midseason series The Baker and The Beauty, Council of Dads, Epix’s Godfather of Harlem and Lincoln.
The deals were unveiled by Rick Brace, President of Rogers Media, and Colette Watson, Svp of TV & Broadcast Operations.

Canadian media giant Rogers Media has undergone another round of job cuts, this time in its publishing division.
Toronto-based Rogers Media, led by president Rick Brace, on Thursday confirmed it has chopped around 75 positions in its digital content and publishing division. The reorganization leaves around 150 employees to run popular magazine brands like Maclean's, Hello! Canada and Chatelaine.

Canadian broadcaster CityTV has picked up U.S. scripted series including A Million Little Things, Manifest and comedy Murphy Brown as part of its La Screenings activity.
The Rogers Media-owned network has become the latest Canadian broadcaster to unveil its pick-ups of the current batch of U.S. broadcast series following CTV’s acquisition of titles including The Rookie and Magnum, P.I., and Global’s deal for FBI and New Amsterdam.
