Ahead of Black Mirror series 3 arriving on Netflix, here's our spoiler-free chat with writer Charlie Brooker and producer Annabel Jones…
Six years ago this month, Charlie Brooker took leave of his weekly TV column at The Guardian with a blistering final entry that was half mea culpa, half montage of his best bits. In it, he explained that after a decade, the fun had seeped out of writing cruel but honkingly funny caricatures of small screen personalities. It no longer felt okay to earn a living by describing David Dickinson as an “ageing Thundercat” or Anne Widdecombe as having “a face like a haunted cave in Poland”.

Keith Lemon will return for another series of his Sketch Show on ITV2.
Following the comedy character's successful first series in February, ITV has recommissioned the show for a second run.
The second series will welcome back characters including Big Fat Gypsy Kardashians, David Dickinson, Holly Willoughby and the Urban Fox, while introducing brand new creations.
The first run was ITV2's highest-rated series launch in two years, with a combined audience of just over 1 million viewers.
Lemon said of the show's return: "So chuffed to be doing a second series of me sketch show. It's a nice fing to say you've got a sore throat from laughing at work.
"Hope it's not too warm whilst we're filming, that fox suit can get pretty hot! Feels like ya balls are in a cuppa tea!"
ITV2 is yet to announce whether the second series will air later in 2015 or next year.

Keith Lemon locks lips with Fearne Cotton on tonight's (October 2) episode of Celebrity Juice.
However, the BBC Radio 1 DJ doesn't look impressed by Lemon's advances, and definitely seems to have some regrets today.
She posted a picture of their intimate moment on Twitter, adding: "When things take a turn for the worse on tonight's celebrity juice and I wonder how the hell I ended up like this..."
Things must get pretty wild on tonight's instalment, as Cotton was forced to go home sick from her BBC Radio 1 show this morning after complaining of a hangover.
The pair are joined on the latest show by Johnny Vegas, David Dickinson, Alison Hammond and Towie star Chloe Sims.
Meanwhile, Cotton also takes part in a bit of running man action with new team captain Gino D'Acampo.
Celebrity Juice continues its 12th series tonight at 10pm on ITV2.

David Dickinson is left speechless as he becomes the latest victim of one of Ant & Dec's undercover pranks.
In scenes to air on this week's Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, the duo stage a car crash to fool the antiques show presenter.
Believing he is fronting a new programme titled Long Lost Treasures, Dickinson meets Alfie - played by a disguised Dec - and his wife Margaret, who are hoping to be reunited with their much-loved Ford Capri, which they sold 15 years ago.
The couple explain why the car means so much to them, telling Dickinson that their first child was conceived in it.
Ant then turns up as the vehicle's new owner Frank and things take a turn for the worst when Alfie steals the car and crashes it into a pile of hay bales.
Upon realising he has been pranked, Dickinson tells the pair: "You've done me like a kipper.

Celebrity Big Brother star Luisa Zissman argued that men are better than women today - but it was all part of a game.
To pass the time, the housemates agreed to deliver a series of fake lectures in which they would argue for something they strongly disagree with.
"Luisa, please stand up behind the sofa," Jim said. "The lecture you will give, without repeating yourself, stuttering or saying, 'Oh f**k' for five minutes will be why you believe men are the stronger species than women."
Luisa groaned as soon as she heard the suggestion, prompting the other housemates to start laughing.
"Good morning," Luisa began. "I am Luisa Zissman and I am here to talk to you about why men are a stronger species than women. Hmm. If you look back in history, men have always been the more dominant sex."
She paused, before adding: "They have cared and looked after women for decades,...

From Lovejoy to Deadwood, Ian McShane has made a career out of playing rogues. He tells us about his drink- and drug-fuelled past, and how he's given it all up to make blockbusters for his grandchildren
On a breezy spring afternoon in Santa Monica, Ian McShane and I are hauling furniture around a hotel room. The suite has been used recently for a photo shoot, and McShane has decided he wants everything back the way it was. I pull one of the sofas towards the fireplace, dragging the rug with it. He manoeuvres the other with surprising ease: he's a small but compact man, around 5ft 7in, sinewy, with a light mahogany tan; and although there is some grey amid the glossy black curls, it's very easy to forget that he is 70. "Seventy years old!" he rages in his distinctive Lancastrian burr, like syrup on sandpaper. "How did that happen?...

The latest Batman baddy reveals that the source of his most demonic creations is daytime television. Is it a surprise?
It all makes so much sense now. If you rewatch Tom Hardy's idiosyncratic turn as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises – the domineering personality, the love of violent confrontation, the terrible dress sense, the fondness of his own voice, all the bizarre "That's a lovely lovely voice" non-sequiturs – it becomes painfully apparent where the inspiration for such a monster could come from. Clearly, Tom Hardy is a massive daytime television fan.
That's not as silly as it sounds. This week, during an interview with Total Film, Hardy revealed that one of the primary influences for his role as Forrest Bondurant in the upcoming crime thriller Lawless was Come Dine with Me. "I watch Come Dine with Me!" he told the magazine. "I really do like Come Dine with Me.
