"You always spin things in a way that ignores what's wrong." Vertical Ent. has released an official trailer for an indie romantic comedy titled Breaking Fast, the first feature film from filmmaker Mike Mosallam. This premiered at the Cinequest Film & Creativity Festival earlier this year, and also played at the Out on Film: Vancouver Queer Film Festival. Haaz Sleiman stars as Mo, a practicing Muslim living in LA's West Hollywood, who is learning to navigate life post heartbreak. Enter Kal, an All-American guy who surprises Mo by offering to break fast with him during the holy month of Ramadan. The two start to discover they have more in common than meets the eye. Get some! Co-starring Michael Cassidy as Kal, with Amin El Gamal, Patrick Sabongui, Christopher J. Hanke, Rula Gardenier, Veronica Cartwright, and Aline Elasmar. This looks super sweet and amusing, and very much a film capturing life in WeHo.

Darren Criss made his debut in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, and above you can see him at the after party with co-star Christopher J. Hanke. If you're wondering about the dirty looks, I think Darren just realized that Christopher played the rat bastard waiter who tried to break up Kevin and Scotty on Brothers & Sisters. Interloper!I give up. Yesterday I was intrigued at the prospect of Tilda Swinton remaking Auntie Mame, and now I'm being punished for letting up on my remake hatred. Planes are underway for a new version of Carrie. On the plus side, Kimberly Pierce is being eyed as director, but still, didn't the musical and deadly dull TV remake teach anyone anything? Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson, Kristen Wiig, and Christopher Walken are in talks to star in Freezing People Is Easy, about the man who tried to pioneer cryogenics. Surprisingly, it's not a Walt Disney picture.

A hilarious and uplifting Broadway classic has returned to the Al Hirschfeld Theater, with a cast that's almost too good to be true and a timeless message that is surprisingly relevant in 2011. As a Pulitzer prize winner which has been revived twice in 15 years, "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" is something of an American theater war horse. The music is sometimes romantic, sometimes comedic, and always fun. The book is fast-paced, clever, and witty. And the performances are just as charming, spirited, and silly as they ought to be for a sixties-era socially satirical musical comedy—and then some. A crowd-pleaser with something for everyone, this production of How to Succeed may be the best bet on Broadway right now for all those out-of-town friends and relatives. Moreover, it is definitely a must-see if you're a fan of any of the lead actors—and with the extraordinary celebrity heft of this cast,...

"Three Rivers", a new medical drama from CBS is coming up with the next challenge for the elite team. Andy and his co-workers are trying to save an 18-year-old college student who suddenly passes out in front of her school. She is in need of a double lung transplant but the team runs into a road block that might not allow her to be eligible for a new set of lungs.
Alyssa Diaz guest stars as the college student in need of transplant, Christy. The episode "Ryan's First Day", which is slated to air on Sunday, October 11, was formerly known as "Tick Tock", the show's debut episode. The network however, decided to switch the episode with the one premiering on October 4, "Place of Life". Ryan in the title refers to Ryan Abbott, the inexperienced new transplant coordinator played by Christopher J. Hanke.

Chicago – “Three Rivers” takes its title from the Pittsburgh heart transplant hospital at which it is set but even the dull, “easy listening” name of the show should tell you something about the earnest, drab series debuting tonight on CBS. Generic, manipulative, and almost purposefully wasting the talented cast assembled, “Three Rivers” may satisfy viewers tired after a long weekend of football but only because it’s so safe and predictable - two words that never stopped a show, especially one on CBS, from becoming a hit.
Television Rating: 2.0/5.0
There is nothing overtly “wrong” with “Three Rivers”. The cast isn’t bad and the plot of the premiere is certainly about good people doing great things, but with such a glut of medical shows this year - “Nurse Jackie,” “HawthoRNe,” “Mercy,” “Trauma” - doing “nothing wrong” is the same as doing nothing at all.

Not wanting to get left out of the medical drama fun, CBS is starting its own series set in a hospital. I'm talking (obviously) about Three Rivers. But Three Rivers isn't your typical fare. While most medical dramas deal with a wide menagerie of cases, Three Rivers has a more specific focus: organ transplants.
Now, I'm not an organ donor (though I did give a piano to the Salvation Army once), but the moral aspect of this could make the show one of the better new shows coming on this fall. If the show is as emotionally-driven as I think it is, then it might actually be good. It'll be nice to see a show more about the patients than the doctors.
And there's another reason why that'll be a good thing. Alex O'Loughlin will play lead surgeon Andy Yablonski (such an...

You know who is not looking very Shane today? Kate Moennig. The first cast promo shots for the former The L Word star’s new medical series, Three Rivers, were released recently. Can I just say, whoa.
Ok, before we can proceed we must discuss this image. First, I’m not sure Shane would approve of this haircut. Also, is it just me or did the marketing department find a “Femme-Up” tool in Photoshop and just go crazy? Though, I am happy to see Kate’s patented pout is still alive and well.
The show follows organ transplantation from three points of view: the doctors, the donors and the recipients. Kate plays Dr. Miranda Foster, a member of the elite surgical team who has a rebellious streak and fiery temper. Chicago – In a relatively shocking announcement as a part of fall schedule upfronts this week, CBS actually pulled the trigger on “Without a Trace,” a show that had reportedly gotten too expensive for the network. There were rumors that they may do the same with “Cold Case,” but that show will return with on-the-bubble shows “The New Adventures of Old Christine” and “Rules of Engagement” also being miraculously renewed and “Medium” being saved.
This Fall CBS adds the popular drama series Medium, starring Patricia Arquette, Fridays (9:00-10:00 Pm, Et/Pt), forming a hauntingly compatible two-hour block with Ghost Whisperer at 8:00 Pm.
