The Funhouse Massacre presents itself as just another indiscriminate indie-horror flick, but as someone who’s been fooled by many similarly crafted duds, I can assure you that this roadside slaughterhouse is a much more enjoyable beast. Writer Ben Begley, who also plays a bumbling deputy, is not only able to craft a horror flick that’s loads of hellish fun, but this colorful massacre remain consistently funny throughout – not an easy task for scary comedies these days. While Begley’s tongue-in-cheek antics become a bit overplayed in a few instances, it fares far better than most jovial copycats of the same ilk, and holds its own against modern gore-chucklers with much bigger budgets. In the vein of a much more over-the-top The Houses October Built, The Funhouse Massacre is one of 2015’s hidden horror gems despite a smaller-format rollout, loaded with guts and bursting with psycho-carnie ferocity.

Fans have been wanting to see Luke Cage a.k.a. Power Man make his way to the Marvel cinematic universe for quite some time now, and will finally get their wish when the Marvel Netflix shows start arriving in 2015. Daredevil is first, followed by Jessica Jones and Iron Fist, but Luke Cage is getting his own series as well, and will be part of the TV team-up event The Defenders.
We’ve heard several actors express their interest in playing Cage, from Idris Elba, Isaiah Mustafa, Dwayne Johnson, Terry Crews, and Mars Crain. Now, another has tossed his hat into the ring: The Best Man and Chicago alum Taye Diggs.
Diggs recently appeared on the Conan O’Brien Show, and said that he would like to play Cage if given the opportunity:
“Luke Cage. You ever heard of that? I’ve always liked that. Just you know, growing up a poor black boy,...

A title that’s more than just product placement!
When last we saw Greg House (Hugh Laurie), he’d just rammed his car into Doctor Cuddy’s home. It turns out that after he did that he fled the country for several months, came back at some point, got a prison sentence and has been inside for almost a full year. Now he’s faced with the possibility of parole, but only if he can behave himself for five whole days. With anyone else that might be a challenge. For House…?
Not surprisingly, he hasn’t been exactly making friends and influencing people while in prison. He’s gotten on, or is getting on, the wrong side of a white supremacist, a very large black thug (Mars Crain), and assorted others. Just to make things even more interesting, he’s unofficially helping out the hospital staff...
