Cobra Kai season 6: Netflix announces premiere dates for 15 episode, 3 part conclusion to the series
Production on the sixth and final season of the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai, a continuation of the Karate Kid film franchise, was delayed several months due to the writers and actors strikes last year – but the extended wait is going to be worth it, because Netflix has just announced that the show is wrapping up with a 15 episode season (previous seasons consisted of 10 episodes), and they’re splitting the episodes up to make it a three part event! As they put it, “The end of a legacy… deserves a Grand Finale.” They’ve also revealed premiere dates: Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 1 premieres July 18, 2024. Part 2 premieres November 28, 2024. The Finale Event comes in 2025.
I’m hyped to finally have premiere dates for most of the episodes, because this show has become one of my all-time favorites over the course of the previous five seasons. I grew up on the Karate Kid movies and always enjoyed them,...

When Cobra Kai returns to Netflix for its sixth and final season, the Karate Kid spinoff plans to expand the Miyagiverse significantly. The teen-focused drama Crane kicked martial arts action fans in the face in 2018, building on the Karate Kid legacy started by Ralph Macchio (Daniel Larusso), William Zabka (Johnny Lawrence), and Pat Morita (Mr. Miyagi). With every season, Cobra Kai has grown through fan-service casting, interpersonal drama, and hard-hitting action. No one could have predicted the Miyagiverse would expand the way it has because of Cobra Kai, and now the show’s co-creator, Jon Hurwitz, says fans can expect Season 6 to explore the franchise in exciting ways like never before!
In a thread on Twitter/X, Hurwitz assured fans the final season of the series delivers big surprises, in-depth character flashbacks, and plot elements that expand the Miyagiverse.
“Season 6 expands the ‘Karate Kid/Cobra Kai’ universe more than the first 5 seasons combined.

This Cobra Kai article contains spoilers for season 5.
Cobra Kai has been one heck of a ride. Each season has navigated through a nearly forty-year-old feud, coupled with a teen soap opera while juggling bullying with romance, all thrown in with a copious helping of fight scenes. Throughout the series, Cobra Kai has delivered plenty of surprising twists and crazy cliffhangers.
Season 5 kept up its breakneck pace (and we do mean breakneck – remember how season 2 ended). This season’s finale was oddly parallel to last season’s finale, the villainous sensei gets taken away by the police, only this time it’s Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) instead of John Kreese (Martin Kove). All the beloved main characters put aside their rivalries to vanquish Silver, so once he’s busted, they can all live happily ever after, right? But wait! Kreese escaped jail. That will surely be a major plot point for next season.

As audiences eagerly await the arrival of “Cobra Kai” Season 5 on Netflix next month, fans can whet their appetites with a slew of first-look images for the new season, including the return of yet another familiar face from “Karate Kid” lore.
Season 5 will welcome back Sean Kanan as Mike Barnes, who franchise devotees will remember as one of the main antagonists of “The Karate Kid III.” In that film, he was hired by Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) to take down Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) in the All Valley Karate Championship. Later in Season 3 of “Cobra Kai,” Daniel tells his daughter Sam that Mike was the most ruthless fighter he ever faced off against. Nothing hits harder in “Cobra Kai” than nostalgia.
“As Terry Silver calls upon some old friends to put the Valley in a stranglehold, Daniel and Johnny are going to need all the help they can get...

It seems that Disney is putting Ant Farm out to pasture after three seasons. According to star China Anne McClain, the sitcom has been cancelled.
The comedy takes place in San Francisco and revolves around a group of gifted middle-schoolers in a special "Advanced Natural Talent" (A.N.T.) program at the local high school. Castmembers have included McClain, Sierra McCormick, Jake Short, Stefanie Scott, Carlon Jeffery, and Aedin Mincks.
Last night, McClain wrote, "It was Great filming Ant Farm but after 3 seasons it's come to an end. I'm excited about my secret projects and keeping you guys happy!"
Season three kicked off on May 31st with a special hour episode. A total of 14 season three episodes have aired thus far and the next is scheduled for January 24th. It's unclear how many installments have been ordered -- the first two seasons...

Title: Ted Directed By: Seth MacFarlane Starring: Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Seth MacFarlane, Joel McHale, Giovanni Ribisi, Aedin Mincks Not going to lie. I kind of want my own talking teddy bear. But only if he guzzles beer, tells excessively dirty jokes, can drive and wants to be my best friend forever. As a young kid, John Bennett didn’t have any friends. The kid who got picked on by the local bullies didn’t even want to hang out with him. However, that’s when Ted, came into his life. The adorable stuffed bear was a Christmas present from his parents and while John loved the inanimate plush toy to death, he [ Read More ]...

If you looked at the trailers for Seth MacFarlane‘s Ted and thought it would be a full-length, live action riff on his popular animated television show “Family Guy”, you wouldn’t be wrong. However, if your assumption also carried the thought such a result would end up overlong, obnoxious, and too weak to sustain its one-note joke, get ready to be pleasantly surprised. I won’t say this crude, R-rated fantasy about a teddy bear come to life will be for everyone, but MacFarlane and “Guy” team members Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild have definitely stuck with what they know. I don’t think shifting their formula to the big screen will sustain itself for multiple works, but utilizing it as a bridge to transition the comedian into the Hollywood machine does prove a low-risk maneuver for someone with his established audience. Fans should love this film as a result.

Billy Bob Thornton had a strange first meeting with his new movie son - he failed to recognise the kid from his favourite TV commercial.
The actor thought he was just being approached by a young fan when Aedin Mincks first approached him on the set of Faster.
He recalls, "I didn't even know the kid. He came up to me when we first got there and he goes, 'Hey, I loved you in Bad News Bears.' I thanked him. I'm used to that from kids and you're always glad it's Bad News Bears and not Bad Santa!
"Then he said one of the weirdest and funniest things I ever heard anybody say to me on a set: 'Hey, do you watch the Capitol One commercials with those Vikings?' And I go, 'Yeah, I love those things; they're very funny.' He goes, 'You know the fat kid? That's me!'"...
