Jeff Schmidt is a Boston based producer/editor at Pulse Media, a video
production and crewing company located in Watertown, Massachusetts. He is a
four-time Boston/NE Emmy Award winner and one of the organizers of The
Salem Film Fest, the largest all-documentary
film festival in New England.
Jeff began his career as an intern with NBA Entertainment and after graduating from Ithaca College in 1994, worked as a freelancer for CNN Sports and Turner Sports' "NBA on TNT" in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 1995, he joined Creative Sports/ESPN Regional in Charlotte, North Carolina, working as a feature producer for ESPN Boxing, The Big 12 Conference, Conference USA and The Charlotte Hornets Television Network. Jeff also served as the Producer/Director/Editor of the sports documentary "Rusty Wallace: In the Driver's Seat."
Jeff began freelancing in the Boston area in 1998 and worked as a Producer/Editor/Videographer for TRG Productions from 1999-2005, working on a variety of corporate, government and broadcast projects.
He joined Pulse Media in the fall of 2005 and has worked for numerous broadcast clients such as NBA TV, E! Entertainment Television, TLC, MTV, VH1, and The History Channel.
