Following a successful stint as an ordained minister in non-profit
work, Carlos transitioned into his lifelong passion for filmmaking.
Armed with a formal background in digital media production and a shrewd
eye for story-telling, Carlos has crewed for feature films such as Cook
County, Tree of Life, Wolvesbayne, Mindsight, This is America and Camp
Sterling: The Secret of the Lost Medallion prior to his move into
producing & production management.
Carlos has worked as a Line Producer, Producer or UPM on the following projects: Eddie Rodriguez's Jon Wuz Here, Mel House's Placeholders, Stephen Wolfe's Doll Factory, Scott Pitney's Fore, Neon Iron Productions' Tribe of Eden and Nick Rios & Cody Snyder's GrounDead.
Carlos also pursues an active development slate consisting of several original properties, including his own action/drama/sci-fi series More Than Human (2013), his YouTube-centric anthology series YouChoose (co-created with Johnny DeJesus), his action/comedy series Short Fuse (co-created with Eddie Rodriguez) and his original feature film properties, Night of the Crier and The Hidden Army. His filmmaking blog, FanboyFilmmaker.com houses his written work, as well as the majority of his short format work, through the linked YouTube channel.
