One of the aspects to help beautifully tie together this triptych is the score from Nicholas Britell. Jenkins himself has said he wrote the script to a slowed-down remix of Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange and you can see the traces of that influence with some of the selections here, as the score is now available to stream in full. One can hear Britell’s themes for the character in different time periods and drawn-out variations of them, which add quite a gravity to the film’s more intense sequences. There’s also “Hello Stranger,” which you’ll never hear the same way again after watching the film.

Thai production house Gdh 559 is launching its inaugural slate with Banjong Pisanthanakun’s anticipated romance.
Banjong Pisanthanakun’s One Day is set to open on Sept 1 as the first title from the debut slate of new Thai production house Gdh 559, following the breakup of Gmm Tai Hub (Gth) last year.

Thailand's Banjong Pisanthanakun burst on to the international horror scene in 2004 as the co-director of chilling horror picture Shutter, later subjected to a greatly inferior Us remake. Pisanthanakun would team up with his Shutter co-director again for 2007 effort Alone but fans have been waiting ever since for a return to feature length horror. It's not that he hasn't been busy ... Pisanthanakun turned in stellar solo efforts in the short film horror anthologies Phobia and Phobia 2, directed hugely successful romantic comedy Hello Stranger in 2010 and contributed the hysterical N Is For Nuptials segment to this year's international horror anthology The ABCs Of Death. After last week's exciting romp with Eyal, "Hello Stranger" wasn't as overtly entertaining, but there was still plenty to enjoy out of this midseason hour of Covert Affairs.

During Annie's mission, Joan told her to get out of town in order to remain safe,...
