“Let’s Fucking Go.”
Tom Brady’s notorious catchphrase (“Lfg” is the PG version) was how Fox chose to end its upfront presentation Monday evening, with Brady on stage joined by his Fox NFL colleague Michael Strahan, and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay (also known for using the F word), shouting it to the rafters.
Brady, who retired officially last year, confirmed that he will indeed join the Fox NFL broadcast booth this fall, working as an analyst alongside play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt and reporters Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi.
Brady was the closing event for the upfront, appearing a week after his Netflix roast made global headlines (fellow roaster and Fox personality Rob Gronkowski was also in attendance).
Brady, speaking to Strahan on stage, said the decision to follow through on his deal two years ago to join Fox after he retired was a “no brainer.”

17,000 fans. The reunion of an American football dynasty and the coach no one expected to show. Televised live around the world while the reputation of a man considered “the greatest of all time” sits in the hands of savage comedians and one-time foes. What could go wrong?
But here we are, just days after Tom Brady took to the stage at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles for Sunday’s “The Greatest Roast of All Time,” and the walls are still standing. For decades roast comedy has been a beloved national tradition, once shepherded on TV by Comedy Central. It was a show that often targeted Hollywood legends or zeitgeist icons. It took the willingness of Brady, who holds a record 7 Super Bowl rings, to reinvigorate the format for streaming under host Kevin Hart. And not just any roast, which would typically be shot on a Hollywood backlot and edited ahead of its premiere.

ChainFest, a chain food celebration that held its inaugural edition in LA last year, is passing the baton to Medium Rare, a fast growing producer of live events and manager of brands, in a multiyear deal.
B.J. Novak of The Office, who founded ChainFest with chef Tim Hollingsworth , helped attract a celeb turnout to its first outing. Jack Davis, founder of Crypt TV (recently sold to Brat TV) is also a co-founder. Chain Fest stakeholders see the first edition as proof of concept but want to improve and expand the fest into a broader entertainment festival with live music and events. The plan is to launch the fest in New York and other U.S. cities.
Medium Rare, founded by Joe Silberzweig and Adam Richman, works closely with Shaquille O’Neal, who brokered a 2020 deal for Authentic Brands to take a 20% interest in Medium Rare. O’Neal has a big stake in both companies.

Former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski is the new host of the L.A. Bowl, it was announced Saturday. He replaces Jimmy Kimmel, who served since the bowl game’s inception.
“It’s Gronk’s turn now … I can get used to this,” Gronkowski said in an X video announcing the former All-Pro tight end as host.
Gronkowski played for the New England Patriots (2010-18) and won three Super Bowls, emerging as one of the top targets for retried seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady.
Gronkowski retired after the 2018 season, but returned to reunite with Brady on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The duo won a final Super Bowl together in 2020 before Gronkowski retired again after the 2021 season.
The third 2023 L.A. Bowl will be held Dec. 16 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Utah State beat Oregon State in the 2021 game, before Fresno State defeated Washington State in 2022.

Move over Jimmy Kimmel, it’s Gronk’s bowl game now.
Rob Gronkowski is taking over hosting duties for the L.A. Bowl, SoFi Stadium’s owned and operated college football bowl game, from late night host Kimmel. The former NFL star has entered into a multi-year agreement to rename the annual bowl game “L.A. Bowl Hosted by Gronk,” the SoFi Stadium announced on Saturday.
“Football has brought me so many incredible opportunities, and I’m thrilled to return to college football as the host of my very own bowl game,” Gronkowski said in a statement. “We are going to light up college football bowl season. This game is going to be epic, so I better see everyone at the L.A. Bowl Hosted by Gronk at SoFi Stadium on December 16!”
The game, previously called the “Jimmy Kimmel L.A. Bowl,” was hosted by the late night host for the past two years.

So long Jimmy Kimmel, it’s Gronk’s house now.
Former NFL star Rob Gronkowski is taking over the naming rights to the LA Bowl, the college football gown game owned and operated by SoFi Stadium.
The bowl game — which will see the Mountain West’s No. 1 selection face off against the Pac-12’s No. 5 selection — will now be called the “LA Bowl Hosted by Gronk.”
Gronkowski is taking over the naming rights from ABC late night host Jimmy Kimmel, who had hosted the game for the past two years. The game used to be called the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl.
Kimmel made the bowl game a bit on his ABC talk show, creating an official mascot (“Jimmy Camel,” a vomiting camel) and an official sandwich for the game (and creating segments for the show in the process).

Skip Bayless has taken a jab at Charles Barkley after the former NBA star called the Fox Sports analyst an “idiot.” In return, the Undisputed co-host called Barkley a “clown.”
“Still chuckling over a clown calling me an idiot,” Bayless tweeted.
The tweet from Bayless after Barkley’s coverage of The Match earlier this week where Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson faced off Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce in a golf competition. Barkley took a swing at Bayless in a nod to Shannon Sharpe leaving the FS1 show and getting a contract buyout from the sports network.
“He’s the best tight end, it’s between him and Gronk as the best ever. And I don’t want to leave out Shannon Sharpe,” Barkley said. “I want one of those jobs where I can get a buyout for working with an idiot.”
Barkley later joked, “What do you think Ernie?...
