In every grand finale of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” not one but two crowns are bestowed: one to the ultimate winner (chosen by host RuPaul Charles) and one to Miss Congeniality (chosen by her fellow queens). All week long, “Drag Race” viewers at Gold Derby have been predicting who they think will become Miss Congeniality for Season 15, and things are looking strong for Salina EsTitties and Malaysia Babydoll Foxx. Both of these eliminated queens made their mark during their time on MTV’s reality TV show and would be welcome additions to future “All-Stars” seasons.

Which celebrity will be win the coveted title of “Best Guest of the Night”?
That’s the question that TruTV’s “Talk Show the Game Show” asks when it premieres on April 5. When stars visit late-night talk shows to promote a project or themselves, they need to play nice to win over the host, Guy Branum (“Chelsea Lately,” “The Mindy Project”) and audience. “Talk Show the Game Show” awards them for these skills.

For example, points can be awarded for getting applause by naming a city, flashing the host, singing, using a euphemism instead of swearing and making the audience go, “Aww!”
But beware. Being a bad guest is “grounds for sanction,” whatever that means. (Can we vote for pie in the face?) Bad behaviors include excessive name dropping, white male fragility, being boring, failure...

Happy 39th birthday to one of the funniest reality TV contestants of all time, "RuPaul's Drag Race" season six champ Bianca Del Rio. The queen has the no-nonsense attitude of Judge Judy, the stank side-eye of Marla Gibbs, and enough lightning-quick wit to zap the bourbon out of Dorothy Parker's hand. With the possible exception of Bianca's runner-up Adore Delano, it's safe to say Bianca is the funniest queen in the show's history. While season four standout Willam was extremely clever, he lacked a certain empathy with his fellow players. Season two Carol Channing idolator Pandora Boxx was a pure joy, but her kookiness was more quaint than exhilarating. And season five winner Jinkx Monsoon had the comic chops, but her talents were reserved mostly for character roles. Bianca is all of the above, and she manages to be both savage and sympathetic with everything she says. A true...

A Kardashian and Bob Mackie guest judge, as the Queens have to present different runway looks on this episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
This week’s mini-challenge was a lot of fun, as the Queens have to put on a puppet show reading their fellow Dolls. DeLa wins, deservedly, for her spot-on Bianca interpretation (“Baloney!”), but I thought Adore also did a hilarious DeLa.
For the main challenge, the Queen have to present looks in three categories (banjee realness, platinum executive realness, and dripping in jewels eleganza). And they have to perform an Old Hollywood number.
So how did the Queens do? Let’s take a look, from winner to elimination.
Adore Delano – Well, it’s pretty obvious they want Adore for the final. She was the focus of tonight’s show, with her “epiphany” and Ru and Michelle blessing her blossoming. Um … okay. Her banjee look was perfect,...

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka guest judge, as the Queens have to drag a wedding on this episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
This week’s mini-challenge was the most arbitrary of the season, as the Queens had to create a Twerk Of Art that represented marriage equality … by rolling around in paint on top of a canvas. All of the creations looked like … someone had rolled around in paint on top of a canvas, but somehow Ru saw something special in Bianca’s piece, so she got the win.
For the main challenge, Ru announces that he’s an ordained minister, and will be conducting marriage ceremonies on the main stage, and it’s up to the Queens to give drag makeovers (and act as the Drag Mothers) … but not to the brides-to-be, but the grooms, who are mostly varying degrees of Paul Bunyan.
So how did the Queens do?...

The Queens have to to shill Ru’s cosmetic line, and perform a standup routine on this week’s Double Episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
In the first episode, the ladies have to pair up to shoot commercials for Ru’s new Glamazon cosmetic line, and naturally, the teams are chosen based on potential for drama, so we get Bianca and Trinity, Joslyn and Courtney, BenDelaCreme and Darienne, and Laganja and Adore. At least one of these Queens is not happy about her pairing.
In the second episode, the Queens have to perform a standup routine for an older audience. One of them is heckled off the stage.
Let’s take a look at how each Queen did in both episodes.

The queens are challenged to rap in a TLC-inspired 90s music video on this episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race, with special guest judges Trina and Eve.
Ru opens the library for the mini-challenge, and after the Queens read each other to varying degrees of success, the winner is not Bianca, as you’d probably expect, but Darrien, who seems to have been passed the bitter torch from the departed Gia Gunn.
The 90′s rap battle begins, and some stood out more than others. Here’s how the Queens did, from winner to elimination.
Adore Delano – Both Trina and Eve believe that Adore nailed the rap, and while I think that may be overpraise, I do agree that she was the … least incompetent, which is good enough. However, Michelle had to point out again that her runway look had problems. Still, it was enough to give Adore her first win.

It’s always the most eagerly anticipated episode of every season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and this year’s “Snatch Game” featured the usual assortment of standouts and duds. How did each of the Queens fare? Let’s take a look, from winner to the worst.
BenDeLaCreme – She was a bit nervous about taking on Dame Maggie Smith, but she nailed the Snatch Game with her quips and retorts (and it helped that she had Trinity next to her to cluelessly set her up). She also had one of the better runway looks (the queens have to deliver their best RuPaul look), and she deserved the win, although I would have put her in a tie with …

We’re at Episode Four of Season Six of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and a few things are now clear. A few queens have risen to the top, and are clear frontrunners (Courtney, BenDeLaCreme, Bianca), some are in safely in the middle of the pack (Darienne, Gia, Joslyn, Laganja), one obviously marches to her own drummer (Milk), one is struggling (Trinity), one is improving and finding her footing (Adore), and one has now been tossed to the vultures. Farewell April Carrion.
This week the Queens have to star in a Broadway style musical from cutie pie Lucian Piane, and as you’d expect, Idol performers Courtney and Adore get the lead roles, each bringing their own style, with different degrees of success.
Courtney is spectacular, nailing the role of fresh-off-the-bus Penny, and is appropriately praised by guest judge, the faboo Sheryl Lee Ralph. Adore plays Bad Penny, and gives it her all,...

This season of RuPaul’s Drag Race upended the rules, as 2 groups of queens were introduced separately, and that decision is obviously going to impact the entire season.
Both groups became instant cliques (thank Goddess they’ve stayed away from any “Heather” references), and when it’s time to choose two teams this week, they keep their original groups. Unfortunately, for Group One (led by Adore Delano), it may not last long, as they are clearly the weakest team, and expect to see their clique whittled away each week.
This week the challenge is to act in a drag horror movie franchise, and it features guest judges Lena Headey and Linda Blair, and let’s just say that nothing on display here can come close to matching Linda’s performance in Hell Night.
Darienne Lake wins the challenge with her spot-on impersonation of Gwyneth Paltrow in Seven, while April Carrion...

We didn’t get a chance to look at the first part of the Season Six premiere (you can see it here if you want to catch up), but this season of RuPaul’s Drag Race is looking too good to ignore.
Ru decided to shake things up this year by dividing the premiere into two parts, with seven queens introduced last week (Kelly Mantle was eliminated), and seven more this week. Also of note – No more immunity!
Let’s take a closer look at this week’s Dolls.
Bianca Del Rio
Strengths: Smart, sharp, biting
Weaknesses: Self-Proclaimed Clown. Can she glam it up enough?
Winning Potential: Definitely could be in final three, but can come off as cold and aloof.
Trinity K. Bonet
Strengths: “I’m as close as you’re gonna get to Beyonce”
Weaknesses: “I’m as close as you’re gonna get to Beyonce”

With nods to Aretha Franklin and Grindr, "RuPaul's Drag Race" star Pandora Boxx, who regularly blogs for HuffPost Gay Voices, dropped a campy new single and video today titled "You Seemed Shady To Me."
A parody of Franklin's timeless duet with George Michael, "Knew You Were Waiting For Me," the video features a number of former Drag Race contestants spanning almost every one of the show's five seasons, including season four winner Sharon Needles.
Also featuring actor and musician Adam Barta, this video is Pandora's first single since 2012's hit "Nice Car! (Shame About Your Penis)."

Rumor has it Lady Gaga will make an appearance at tonight’s gay pride festivities in New York City. The superstar will supposedly give a speech during the events Kick off Rally at Pandora Boxx located at Pier 26 in Tribeca. The event runs from 7-10 p.m. and is hosted by the one and only RuPaul.
Pink plays a sex addict in the dramedy Thanks for Sharing, in theaters September 20.
E! snagged a photo of bisexual actress Anna Paquin existing in the world. Celebrities are just like us, they walk!
Léa Seydoux (Blue is the Warmest Color) is on yet another magazine cover. Is it just me or does Seydoux looks terrifying on the Obsession No.

Where will Lady Gaga make her first major public appearance since undergoing hip surgery in March?
The New York City 2013 Pride Kick Off Rally.
At least that's what a source close to the New York City Pride organization tells The Huffington Post.
The source, who wishes to remain anonymous, revealed to HuffPost Gay Voices in an email Thursday night that the pop star would be speaking at the 2013 NYC Pride Kick Off Rally, hosted by "RuPaul's Drag Race" favorite Pandora Boxx, at Pier 26 somewhere between 7 and 10pm on Friday night.
Gaga, who has a long history of supporting the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, was forced to cancel the remaining dates on her "Born This Way Ball" tour in February due to an injury that required surgery on her hip.
Since then, the "Bad Romance" singer has been photographed by the paparazzi riding in a 24-karat gold wheelchair named "Emma,...

Over a hundred thousand votes have been cast so far in our Queens Tournament which pits all sixty previous RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants in a bracket style tourney to see who truly is the Ultimate Queen. We’re down to just 16 fabulous ladies, and it’s anyone’s guess who will come out on top.
Round 2, which closed this weekend contained some real nailbiter brackets: Raja beat out Raven by a mere 220 votes, Jiggly Caliente pulled a surprising upset and knocked out Carmen Carrera by a 40 vote lead, and perhaps the biggest upset of all: Jessica Wild put the lid on Pandora Boxx by a mere 18 votes.
For handy reference – here is the overall leaderboard for remaining contestants after Round 2…

Over a hundred thousand votes were cast in Round 1 of The RuPaul’s Drag Race Queens Tournament and 32 contenders for the crown are left standing.
A couple of observations about the contest so far: First off, there was a clear winner in almost every single bracket of Round 1. Only one of the 32 matchups was even close. (And kudos to Victoria “Porkchop” Parker who beat out an actual pork chop by four votes!) Things are likely to get far more competitive in Round 2 when the more popular remaining queens start going up against each other.
Second, we included four joke “spoiler” entries in Round 1 to make it an even 64 competitors in the bracket tourney. We didn’t really expect the joke contestants to make it past the first round… and yet three of them did: “a block of mahogany”, 2 piece and a biscuit and “Grumpy Cat”. Here’s hoping they don’t survive the second round.

Shante, you slay.
We're nearing the end of RuPaul's Drag Race's fifth season, and that means it's time to make an important list: the 10 funniest queens in the show's history. In an age when people like Vivienne Pinay and Ivy Winters insist that fishiness is more important than comic chops, we need to fight back. I watch this show for unbridled sauciness, wit, and unapologetic humor, and these ten queens all boasted fine gut-busting instincts.
10. Detox
I have to be honest: I nearly gave this spot to Tatianna, whose performance as Britney Spears remains Snatch Game's most hilarious triumph, but Detox is truly the funnier performer. Her wise-ass commentaries, chicken fierceness, amazing side-eye, jaw-wagging lip-sync skills, and general weariness of everything are total treats. She'd probably laugh more at herself if her facial muscles were capable of abject glee. I'm always waiting to hear her next confessional, particularly after...

The queens create, market and film a commercial for their own signature fragrance.
*Sigh* I had a feeling my girl Ivy Winters was done for when Michelle pointed out that the NYC backdrop she wanted to use for her commercial was actually ... Tokyo. Things went downhill for her from there.
I am sorry to see her go, for a few reasons.: I think she was a genuinely nice person, which is something you can't say about some of the others. She had buckets of glamor, and was one of the best runway queens. She was a cute boy. And with Jinkx' admission that she had a crush on Ivy, that could have made for some good drama going forward.
The mini-challenge featured Andrew Christian, and after doing the daily Briefs Guy for years, I feel he and I have a special bond. How many of the underwear models did you recognize?...

RuPaul's Drag Race is a competition based on the unbeatable criteria of charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent, but a quick glance at the show's contestant history proves that deadly good looks may be a part of the package. And sometimes the package is part of the deadliness. Ow-ow! Cue the chicken laugh, Detox.

We knew it was coming, but RuPaul picked a tolerable week of Drag Race's fifth season not to eliminate either of the lip-syncing queens. Alyssa Edwards and Roxxxy Andrews both werqed the hell out of "Whip My Hair," evolving into action figures with wind-up head-spinning capacity. Since we don't have an eliminated queen to interview this week, let's take this moment to reflect on the competition and rank the seven remaining dames. Who's coming out on top? The answer shouldn't surprise you.
7. Alyssa Edwards
I find it so jarring when a queen is baffled by comedy challenges -- worse, I guess, is when she believes she's a contender in comedy challenges when she's anything but. Alyssa's bizarre confidence during last night's roast was so unjustified, I couldn't even look at her at the mic. Her jokeless "jokes"? Her tactlessly mean "punchlines"? They all reinforced a fact that's been apparent for...

The dolls' comedy skills are put on the spot as they must roast RuPaul and the celebrity judges in front of a live audience.
This week's mini-challenge was this season's opening of the Library, which, like Snatch Game, is something the Queens should know to prepare for. They've been with the other Queens long enough to have a few zingers prepared, and it's Alaska who gets off the best one-liners.
The main challenge had the Queens roast Ru, and to put it kindly, it was mostly cringe-inducing. I had the most trepidation for my fav Ivy Winters, because as Alaska puts it, she's "sweet and well-mannered," and way out of her element here. But she was actually not the worst in this episode. That would be the inexplicably confident Alyssa, and the stumbling, fumbling Roxxxy. Coco, on the other hand, chose a character to play, and followed through ... and won the competition.

The queens test their vocal abilities as they sing in RuPaul's 1980s "We Are The World" inspired charity single.
This week's mini-challenge had the Queens applying makeup in total darkness, which resulted in some ... interesting looks. Alaska decided to go straight out for comedy, but it was Jinkx who had the line of the night when she stumbled around wearing a giant black head veil asking, "Do you remember where you parked the car?" Anyone who can reference Death Becomes Her has a place close to my heart.
The main challenge had the Queens performing a charity anthem titled, "Can I Get An Amen," with some (Ivy, Jinkx, Roxxy) doing better than others (Coco was Doa). Coco and Jade (who had one of the worst runway looks I've ever seen) had to lip-synch, with Coco once again pulling out all the stops. Jade was sent packing, while Coco's days are definitely numbered.

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about shows including The Walking Dead, Girls, Nashville and American Idol!
1 | How utterly heartbreaking was Enlightened‘s Laura Dern in that scene where caddish newspaper guy Jeff (Dermot Mulroney) broke off their affair — especially that final, whispered, “But I didn’t know all along”? And as much as Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Lena Dunham elicit Emmy love for HBO, is Dern the most award-worthy of the trio?

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, ladies and ladyboys – it’s that time again. Time for the ever-popular, most awesome Snatch Game episode for RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 5. Squee! Season 3 gave us Raja as Tyra Banks and Stacey Lane Matthews as Mo’Nique’s character from the movie Precious. Pandora Boxx went classic as Carol Channing, and Tatianna was called ‘eerily accurate’ in her portrayal of Britney Spears in Season 2. And season 1 was just sad in comparison because there [...]...

This season's "Snatch Game" had a lot of flops, a couple of hits, and one genuine classic performance.
Once again the Queens shocked me with their lack of knowledge. Who is Little Edie? What is Grey Gardens? Seriously? Jinkx Monsoon took a chance, and it paid off splendidly. The other performances ranged from adequate to atrocious, with my favorite Queen Ivy Winters flubbing Marilyn Monroe (How do you not do the voice?).
But Ivy did have my favorite runway look. Perfection.

Guest judge Travis Wall helps the queens choreograph the history of Ru's life, leading to a shocking elimination.
How in the Hell can you be a drag queen and not know who Diana Ross is? I don't care how young you are or where you're from, that is Inexcusable!
As for the first-of-its-kind double elimination, I felt bad for Vivienne, who was clearly out of her depth here, but Honey Mahogany deserved to sashay away. That was probably the worse Miss Ross I've ever seen, and as was pointed out by everyone, her line of caftans are ugly and shapeless.

It's Shangela!
One of the most polarizing queens from RuPaul's Drag Race will appear on next week's Thanksgiving-themed episode of Glee. From the press release:
Actor D.J. Pierce, primarily known as the drag character “Shangela,” will guest star on the special Thanksgiving episode of Fox's hit series Glee on Thursday, November 29th at 9/8c. Pierce will appear in drag on the episode alongside Lea Michelle, Chris Colfer, Dean Geyer and featured celebrity guest Sarah Jessica Parker. Pierce appears as an acquaintance of Parker's character attending a Thanksgiving dinner in the New York apartment of Kurt and Rachel. The scene culminates as Pierce, Parker and the series stars are flanked by dozens of New York fashionistas for an epic choreographed performance to the Scissor Sisters hit “Let's Have a KiKi."
Which other Drag Race star would you like to see join the gang? Tammie Brown as Kurt's eccentric aunt? Jujubee as Tina's counselor at "Asian Camp?...

Our colleauges over at NewNowNext got Shangela, Jujubee and Pandora Boxx to give their take on the classic Goodnight Moon. Twitter is treated like something of a redheaded stepchild among literary forums, but honestly, it's the ideal place to be on important occasions like Election Day, Oscar Sunday, Holy Thursday, or Tuesday Weld's birthday. As comedian Guy Branum put it, "Social networking has made a fool of calloused old-school politics," and I have to concur: Twitter made a Election Day a blast while (get this!) keeping everyone informed. And energized and realistic and laughing. Yes, laughing. Thus, here's a collection of hilaaaarious tweets from great gay dudes you should follow immediately. Yes, I've inserted myself in the ranks. Don't mind me.

At this point on RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race, nearly any exit by any of the queen contestants is controversial. Consider the conditions on tonight’s episode three: Eight queens remained, all of whom were some level of a fan favorite when they originally competed and, truly, most of them are even more beloved now. Take that and compound it by the fact that two queens go home each week. Hell, in the first two weeks of competition, some major faves — Nina Flowers, Tammie Brown, and Pandora Boxx — were sent packing.

Watch Julie Klausner interview Yara Sofia, Pandora Boxx, Tammie Brown, Latrice Royale, and more all-star divas about important issues of the day, like who served more shade in the presidential debates and which queens they would cast in an all-drag remake of Hocus Pocus.

Fan-favorite Pandora Boxx made an early exit from RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race. One of the top four in Season 2, Pandora was hoping to show off her improvement in the intervening years. And then the contestants were told they were to compete in teams of two. She talked to Channel Guide about the experience and her new music video. One of those queens was Mimi Imfurst, the self-proclaimed “Hardest Working Bitch In Show Business.” Pandora Boxx was also sent home. At the end of our recent interview, I asked Mimi if she would be so kind to answer our 7 Questions. Enjoy her answers — and check out her full interview. Hey gurl! RuPaul is back, along with some of the favorite drag queens from seasons past. All of the contestants on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars made it This close to the ultimate crown, but ultimately failed. Well, ok, Tammie Brown and Mimi Imfurst didn’t really come close, but they were interesting dragtestants. All right, Tammie was interesting. Mimi got crappy editing to look like an insecure drama queen. Perhaps they will both be exonerated this time around. RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race features: Pandora Boxx (Season 2, top 5) Latrice Royale (Season 4, top 4) Yara Sofia (Season 3, [...]...
