“Cat and Dog” is a comedy movie written and directed by Reem Kherici starring Franck Dubosc, Reem Kherici and Philippe Lacheau.
This movie is a mix of human actors where only Reem Kherici stands out. She’s inspired, cheerful, and fluid in her role. The two male protagonists just do their job. However, the film introduces two true stars to save the day: a dog and a kitten, two computer-generated characters that truly steal the show.
The script is simple and unassuming. The special effects are nothing outstanding, but the puppy and kitten are so charming that it’s worth overlooking the film’s cinematic shortcomings and simply bask in the cuteness and charm of these two new pals.
Plot
As Monica and Jack prepared for takeoff, they suddenly realized that their respective pets, Diva and Chichi, were missing on the tarmac. Monica’s famous influencer cat and Jack’s...

"I hope the strange adventure you're on is bringing you happiness..." Studiocanal UK has released the official UK trailer for the Israeli drama Holy Lands, the latest feature film written and directed by French filmmaker Amanda Sthers. James Caan stars in Holy Lands as Harry Rosenmerck, an Ashkenazi Jewish American cardiologist, who decides to leave everything to become a pig farmer in the Holy Land. Filmed in the iconic landscapes of Israel, Holy Lands is "a universal story about love, family, loss and tolerance, told with incredible humour and heart through career best performances by a stellar ensemble cast." The film shows that, "even in the most dysfunctional of families, what matters is the courage to say what has been left unsaid." This also stars Tom Hollander, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Rosanna Arquette, Efrat Dor, Reem Kherici, Patrick Bruel, and Loai Nofi. Looks a bit odd, but seems like a heartfelt and honest film.

Chicago – It’s no mystery why the appeal of spy satires transcend the boundaries of time and culture. Clueless detectives with a bloated sense of self-importance are great comic punching bags. Everyone loves seeing a doofus get his head slammed in a door, whether that doofus be Inspector Clouseau or Lt. Frank Drebin or countless other law officers who could easily blend in with the Keystone Kops.
Hubert Bonisseur de La Bath, the French spy better known as Oss 117, was created by author Jean Bruce as a straightforward hero. The character was featured in several ’60s thrillers that were meant to be serious competitors with the James Bond franchise. But in 2006, director Michel Hazanavicius decided to do for the outdated character what Austin Powers did for Bond. His picture, “Oss 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies” was a gloriously nutty delight, with a smashing lead performance by Jean Dujardin, who...

Yes, we're excited to see "Iron Man 2," "Inception" and God help us, "Predators." But what we're really looking forward to spending a few hours in the company of an undertaking Bill Murray ("Get Low"), an Italian-speaking Tilda Swinton ("I Am Love") and a toga-wearing Rachel Weisz ("Agora") in the comfort of air-conditioned theater over the next three months. (Either that or we'll be enjoying them from the comfort of home online, on demand or on DVD.)
