Back in 2013 I had the pleasure of watching and reviewing writer/director Ryan Lightbourn’s awesome short film Roid Rage – a Troma-esque grindhouse film about a killer hemorrhoid that I absolutely Loved (review here), well it’s been some time since that short and now, thankfully Lightbourn and his twisted vision is back with All the Devils Are Here, an original creature-feature that is sure to get pulses racing.
Originally announced back in September 2014 under the title Sleepwalkers, All the Devils Are Here tells the story of five college students as they attempt to enjoy a debaucherous spring break getaway. As a series of horrific events surfaces, the group joins forces with a local convenience store owner and a prison escapee. With nighttime approaching, they must set aside their differences and use their wits to survive in this synth-fueled love-letter to 80’s & early 90’s B-movies.

A few release details have been announced for Ryan Lightbourn's (Minutes Past Midnight) All the Devils Are Here. Formerly titled Sleepwalkers, this Floridian shot feature is now out through Video-on-demand. All the Devils Are Here involves a group of students, a debaucherous Spring Break and an uninvited monstrous guest. All of the events create for a bloody good time, this Halloween season. As well, the film's official artwork and trailer are hosted here. The Red Band trailer shows some of the film's goons. One man talks of a scratching at his door. In another scene, a horde of bald freaks attack a character. And, the entire clip has an '80s retro vibe as seen in the clothes and heard in the music. All the Devils Are Here is available on most digital platforms. Currently, this title is already on: iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Vudu, Sony Playstation and XBox Live.

Having exploded onto the scene with his original superb short, Roid Rage – a grindhouse style indie flick about a guy with killer hemorrhoids which he wrote, shot, directed, edited and scored the film himself – Ryan Lightbourn has got behind the camera for his feature-film debut with vicious creature feature Sleepwalkers, shot in the Floridian bayous and swamps and starring Ansley Gordon, Amanda Phillips, Tommy Goodman, Ben Owen, and Ben Evans.
Sleepwalkers tells the story of five college students as they attempt to enjoy a festive spring break getaway, only to encounter a deadly, nocturnal presence. Ryan Lightbourn ("Roid Rage") continues to move his creature feature Sleepwalkers through production. This film was shot in the local Floridian bayous and swamps. And recently, Lightbourn released a second, longer trailer for this film. The clip shows more of the film's practical effects and characters, in peril. As well, Sleepwalkers stars Ansley Gordon, Amanda Phillips, Tommy Goodman, Ben Owen and Ben Evans. The film's second trailer and two new stills are hosted here. In the story, several Spring Breakers find a nightcrawler, in the local everglades. The partying is replaced by blood curdling screams. Now, these friends will have to team up with a group of locals, to take down one of Florida's most dangerous myths. Will anyone survive? As an update, Lightbourn is in the post-production phase of filming. Sleepwalkers will be completed shortly. Then, the film will begin a film festival run and a release date will be announced shortly.

Ryan Lightbourn is the director of “Roid Rage”, a film that our own Todd Rigney seemed to enjoy quite a bit. You can read his review for that inspired tale of depravity here. Although the holiday season is now a fading memory we can’t wait to forget, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t enjoy a little Christmas-themed carnage from director Ryan Lightbourn. Enter “Roid Rage: The Christmas Special”, a movie which injects some much-needed scatological violence into Santa’s busy schedule. Ryan Lightbourn’s ass-oriented horror outing “Roid Rage” is currently making the rounds at various film festivals, prompting the director to craft yet another tantalizing trailer for his outrageously violent short flick. If you have the opportunity to check it out, by all means, do so. Fans of crude and uncouth low-budget cinema will have absolutely no problems singing this flick’s praises from the rooftops, as it packs a ludicrous amount of carnage into its unassuming run time. Yours truly, of course, had an absolute blast watching the flick. If you’re curious about my thoughts regarding the production, by all means, check out my review by clicking right here. Want to know what the movie is about? Well, here you go: Sammy Jenkins was a simple man who lived a simple life, until a genetic mutation sent his world spiraling out of control. Now, being hunted by the men responsible for his deformity,...

The 2nd annual PollyGrind assaults Las Vegas during an epic length film festival that runs Oct. 8-17 at Theatre 7 with enough sleaze and violence to make Sin City residents feel right at home.
Actually, the fest does open up on the 7th with a concert at Neon Venus with local acts like Monster Zero, Creepersin and many more.
However, the film portion of the fest opens on the 8th with Stuart Simpson‘s acclaimed Australian gorefest El Monstro Del Mar!, one of the best Russ Meyer/Roger Corman mash-ups with a Down Under twist. Read the Bad Lit: The Journal of Underground Film review of this gem here.
Other Bad Lit favorites in the lineup are Drew Bolduc and Dan Nelson‘s The Taint, which is still completely grossing out audiences on the festival circuit, and The Uh-Oh Show, the splatter-filled horror comedy by the Godfather of Gore himself Herschell Gordon Lewis.

Beware the coming of Ryan Lightbourn's ass monster.Sammy Jenkins was a simple man who lived a simple life, until a genetic mutation sent his world spiraling out of control. Now, being hunted by the men responsible for his deformity, as well as the FBI, Sammy must fight back with his unique abilities in order to survive. Those unique abilities include the giant killer hemorrhoid growing out of his ass.Faux-grindhouse films are a dime a dozen these days and most, frankly, are outright horrible. But every now and then someone gets it right and the world is a better, albeit sleazier, place. And one of the ones that gets it right is Ryan Lightbourn's short film Roid Rage.We ran the first trailer for this one...

About three weeks ago, I wrote an article announcing Shadowlocked's involvement in this year's Telluride Horror Show and my role as 'Master Host'. Some of you have been wondering what films will be on tap for those in attendance, and lemme tell ya, there are some real doozies. Whether their horror tastes lie with the moody and atmospheric or with over the top fountains of gore, fright fans will find that the Horror Show has something for everyone this year.
Back by popular demand is the extremely popular horror/comedy Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, one of last year's Horror Show crown jewels returning for a repeat performance. Also on tap is The Tunnel, an Australian horror in the 'found footage' genre. Director Carlo Ledesma and producers Enzo Tedeschi and Julian Harvey will be in attendance. Making their United States debuts are shoot-o-rama The Scarlet Worm and tournament-style gorefest Monster Brawl.

When it comes to selecting which movies you are going to put in your film festival, some organizers are better than others. Judging by the announcement of first wave of films to be screened at the Second Annual Telluride Film Festival in Telluride, Colorado, these guys know their shit!
With a schedule that will boast over 20 features and 20 shorts, this is just the beginning, but I'm impressed already…Chillerama, Helldriver, a killer baseball pitcher film And Tucker and Dale vs Evil. Yeah, I'm impressed.
And not only are you getting a killer film line-up, Telluride itself is amazing! A former silver mining town set in a box canyon in southwest Colorado, it's the perfect Shining-esque, Overlook Hotel setting for a horror film festival. To-Hell-You-Ride, Colorado. Oh yeah!
I know it's a full schedule when the ol' carpel tunnel syndrome starts acting up while I write and format the film list.

Ryan Lightbourn is a sick bastard. His 2011 action-packed short flick “Roid Rage” packs so much carnage into such a small space that you have to wonder how his mind could process such cinematic debauchery without landing the poor guy in a padded cell. From the first frame to the very last, “Roid Rage” assaults you with an assortment of twisted ideas and over-the-top imagery, most of which are centered around our hero’s mutated anus. That sentence probably turned half of you off, and to be perfectly honest, I wouldn’t blame you at all if you bowed out now. After all, watching an irradiated butthole savagely snack on an unsuspecting physician’s face isn’t designed for mass appeal. In my household, this is every other Tuesday. Not literally, of course. I wouldn’t want anyone to walk away from this review with the wrong idea. But, I digress.

Review by Mike Pickle, MoreHorror.com
"They're coming after you Sammy" "Who's coming after me?" "Everyone". A mysterious female voice whispers an ominous warning on the other line as Sammy tries to make sense of his strange (and very gross) affliction. One of the many strangely captivating scenes in Roid Rage. A beautifully shot Horror / Comedy short film from Cinematographer Ryan Lightbourn who also produced, wrote, directed and edited this nasty little gem.
This gory, zany, but very well made 14-minute Horror ride centers around Sammy (Zach Canfield). A down on his luck, loveable loser who works at a nuclear power plant. His humdrum life is turned upside down when he develops an itchy and mutating deformity. A giant killer hemorrhoid growing out of his ass! Now FBI Agent Jenkins (John Russo) and Agent Munroe (Ben Evans) are after him in connection with the murders of a bunch of local hookers.

Filmmaker Ryan Lightbourn has been in touch to let us know about his new short movie Roid Rage, and point us in the direction of the frankly messed-up trailer! As he puts it:
Just tipping you off about a royally f**ked up film that is coming out this year. “Roid Rage” has nothing to do with steroids…it’s about the other kind of roid.

The news concerning upcoming indie film Roid Rage has absolutely nothing to do with steroids. Nor does it have a single thing to do with asteroids. However, it does very much have to do with one unlucky man's ass and the vicious creature that flies out of his anus like the jaws on a xenomorph from Alien. Color me enchanted!

There's no amount of Preparation H to save you from Ryan Lightbourn's Roid Rage starring Zach Canfield, John Russo, Ben Evans, John Archer Lundgren, Grayson Lauffenburger, and Randi Lee Krasni.
