Rita Ora delivered a dazzling rendition of “Let You Love Me” on The Tonight Show Tuesday, while she also sat down with Jimmy Fallon to discus her new album Phoenix and play a round of “One Word Songs.”
Ora’s performance of “Let You Love Me” opened with the British pop star moving through the song’s subdued intro with an added bit of gloom. But as Ora finished the first verse, she cut the anguish on her face with a big grin before launching into the joyous “Let You Love Me” hook,...

For 28 years, during David Letterman's tenure on Late Night and The Late Show, Darlene Love sang her holiday hit "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)." But, after his retirement in 2015, the singer needed a new place to showcase her talents. Enter Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show. In Monday's episode of the NBC series, Fallon asked Love to sing the smash with Anna Kendrick and The Roots' Damon "Tuba Gooding Jr." Bryson, Stro Elliot, Kirk "Captain Kirk" Douglas, James "Kamal" Gray, Mark Kelley, James Poyser, Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson, Tariq "Black Thought" Trotter—but with a twist. The group had to perform using "classroom instruments." When...

Matt Damon is running toward the rooftop railing of an L.A. building, and people are afraid he's gonna die. James Corden is not one of them. Damon is reprising Jason Bourne, walking fast and looking over the right shoulder of his scuffed brown leather jacket. He then runs into a plump Brit who's dressed exactly the same. Damon smiles. It's Corden, the host of CBS' The Late Late Show, and the proud son of Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire, in England's unfashionable Home Counties. It's an hour before the taping of Corden's show,...

Matt Damon recalled taking his daughter to her first concert – Prince – and then meeting the legendary musician backstage, on The Tonight Show Wednesday.
The Jason Bourne star said it was his 10-year-old daughter's first concert. "We could reach up and touch Prince," Damon said. "I turned to my wife and said, 'We've completely ruined this child. This is her first concert!'"
But the classic Prince moment came after the show when Damon and his family went backstage to meet the Purple One. While making small talk with the musician,...

One could say that Michael Rosenbaum’s prayers were answered when TV Land’s Impastor came his way. For the Smallville alum not only found in the comedy perhaps “the perfect role” – as a charming, extremely non-religious con man who co-opts the identity and life of a clergyman (who he later learns is gay) — it came on a show that proved to have legs, and as such earned a Season 2 pick-up weeks ahead of this Tuesday’s finale.

Elena's had several months to mourn the death of Damon, but it appears she's still not quite ready to move on. In the first official trailer released for Season 6 of “The Vampire Diaries,” Elena (Nina Dobrev) is still moping around, reveling in old memories and throwing things as she processes her grief over losing Damon (Ian Somerhalder), who walked over to the Other Side in the Season 5 finale. See video: ‘Vampire Diaries’ Star Nina Dobrev Soaks Jimmy Fallon's Balls in Beer on ‘Tonight Show’ (Video) Meanwhile, Caroline (Candice Accola) is also missing a Salvatore brother, Stefan (Paul Wesley), who left.

The CW has finally gave audiences a first taste of Season 6 of “The Vampire Diaries” and it was bittersweet. Elena (Nina Dobrev) is a smoking hot mess after May's ferocious Season 5 finale and the first teaser makes it clear she still hasn't recovered from the loss of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham.) See video: ‘Vampire Diaries’ Star Nina Dobrev Soaks Jimmy Fallon's Balls in Beer on ‘Tonight Show’ (Video) “We just lost two of our closest friends,” she says. “I need you to give me hope.” But Stefan (Paul Wesley) doesn't comfort her. “Damon's gone,” he says “You need to.

CBS announced its fall schedule which is both a big shake-up and a return to CBS’ conservative scheduling. The network is moving away from serialized shows like Hostages but every night’s line-up will be changed. Probably the biggest move is dropping the two-hour comedy block on Mondays. The last time CBS aired a drama on Monday it was Scarecrow & Mrs. King in 1986.
CBS joined the networks promising year-round programming, noting that one of the season’s biggest new dramas was the summer show Under the Dome. There’s a good number of new and returning shows not on CBS’ announced schedule, they’ll be used to limit the number of repeats throughout the year.
At least Under the Dome had Mike Vogel to look at.

John Krasinski is a perfect human being, and here are 20 reasons why:
1. He gifted us with one of the most realistic yet fairytale-like TV romances (all hail Jam!)
"I bought the boat tickets the day I saw that YouTube video. I knew we'd need a backup plan. The boat was actually plan C. The church was plan B. And plan A was marring her a long, long time ago. Pretty much the day I met her."
2. But that's not the only thing that made Jim Halpert God's gift to mankind.
3. He's also a spectacular pranksman in real life:
4. He doesn't wait till Movember.
For all those non-beard lovers out there, how about this??? twitter.com/johnkrasinski/…

My Morning Jacket's Jim James (pronunciation of his name still up in the air, apparently) reunited with "Dear God 2.0" collaborators The Roots on last night's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to perform "A New Life," a rousing bit of folk gospel business from his new solo album Regions Of Light And Sound Of God, out today (February 5).

Last week, it was announced that Patton Oswalt, who hass appeared on such series as CBS’s Two and a Half Men, Fox’s Raising Hope and Showtime’s United States of Tara, will guest star on the upcoming season of FX’s Justified. He will play a former high school classmate of Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant).
Great guest spots are one of my favorite aspects of television. The occurrence can combine an actor and a show that are perfect for one another — even if it’s just temporarily. It can also draw viewers to a show they haven’t checked out yet, possibly giving a struggling series a boost in ratings. Some of my favorite recent moments on series have incorporated fantastic guest stars, including Parker Posey on FX’s Louie and Fox’s New Girl, Giancarlo Esposito on NBC’s Community and...

Kevin Alejandro is taking a break from Bon Temps to go bowling for Bones.
The True Blood stud will appear in the sixth season finale of the Fox procedural as “a flashy, arrogant man obsessed with bowling,” says TV Guide Magazine. Yep, bowling is the name of the game when Booth and Bones go undercover to solve the brutal murder of a league member, and Alejandro’s character is a suspect.

As I write this column (at 10:52am Eastern Time) the Us is on the verge of a government shut down. The last time this happened was in 1996 under Bill Clinton and I don't really remember it too well because I was in elementary school at the time. My biggest concern was whether or not the shut down meant the schools would close too. That answer was no, so I stopped caring immediately. This time I care a little more but I find that every time I start reading too much about what is essentially a giant pissing contest between the two parties I just get angry that it seems like none of the legislators are interested in acting in the best interests of Americans, they're just looking to score some talking points for their reelection campaign which never actually begins or ends, it's just a constant process. Anyway, with...

West Hollywood — The Roots, the Roots, the Roots were on fire as they blasted through back-to-back classics, covers and mash-ups at their sixth annual Pre-Grammy Jam Session at Hollywood's Key Club. The Philadelphia crew was clearly having a blast as friends like John Legend, Mos Def and ex-keyboardist Scott Storch joined them onstage throughout a night that lasted well past 2 a.m.
Slash, Twista, David Banner, Ryan Phillippe and Kelsey Grammer were among the luminaries who skipped stuffier Grammy events around town to check out the star-studded-but-casual affair.
