Was it shoddy speechwriting? Or, wild coincidence? Will heads roll? Talk of suspicious similarities between Melania Trump's Monday speech at the Republican National Convention, and First Lady Michelle Obama's address to the Democrats' 2008 convention wasn't just the fixation of TV cable news pundits. In the streets of Cleveland, convention delegates, Trump supporters and souvenir vendors were buzzing about the controversy and People was in on the conversation: JoAnn McCracken, delegate from Houston"I thought she has a stupid speechwriter…who should have been fired immediately. It was very sad because they made us look like idiots. …One speechwriter...

Warner Bros. and DC have been knocking them out of the park with their animated films, and none more so than their most recent release, The Dark Knight Returns Part 1. While at Nycc, they talked about that particular film's conclusion, plus a few of their upcoming films (unannounced until now).
It was a full panel, and a whole bunch of information came out, so I thought it'd be easier to do this bullet-point style:
* Conan O'Brien has been cast as, you guessed it, the voice of the TV show host in The Dark Knight Returns Part 2. If you can't figure out why that's awesome, I'm not sure what I can do for you.
* They were asked about making a Batman: Beyond movie, and Bruce Timm said they'd love to (lots of cheering here), but at the moment they have no plans for it.

This season, another DC Comics favorite is coming to the small screen, this time on The CW. Stephen Amell is starring as Oliver Queen -- Aka Green Arrow -- in the dark, gritty pilot "Arrow." Above, you can see the first photo released of Amell in costume for the role.
The costume has been redesigned since Justin Hartley played Oliver Queen on "Smallville." It was tweaked by Colleen Atwood, who won Best Costume Design Oscars for her work on "Chicago," "Memoirs of a Geisha," and "Alice in Wonderland."
