Adam James Fakier was born in New York City on February 26, 1982 to
JoAnn Magalhaes, a Registered Nurse, and Feizal Fakier, a former Time
Warner employee. He was raised in Long Island, New York, and is the
eldest of 7 children. His parents separated when Adam was 13 years old,
and eventually divorced. At 12 years old, Adam began acting at The
Fantasy Playhouse, a professional children's acting school, in Long
Island New York. After years of training, and a short break from
acting, Adam landed the lead in 2 short horror films in 2006 and 2007,
which then lead to many auditions and the booking of bigger film and
television projects, such as hit sitcom "30 Rock" (2009) the drama
"Phantom Images" (2010) and supernatural thriller "Off Season." (2011)
Adam has been told by many casting directors that he has a natural star
quality, and will be successfully working in the industry for many
years to come.
