We’ve previously shared the news that ITN Studios, the company that brought us Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, is working with producer/director Louisa Warren on two fractured fairy tale horror movies: Cinderella’s Curse and Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre. Yesterday, we saw a batch of images from Cinderella’s Curse, and now – thanks to our friends at Bloody Disgusting – we have some images from Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre. You can check them out at the bottom of this article.
Coming our way from ChampDog Films and filming in Scotland, Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre was scripted by Jasmine Ebony Thomas and tells the following story: The beautiful Princess Thalia is thrown to ruins after her father’s mysterious death. She lives with Prince Edison who she is in love with but can no longer marry since losing her status. Queen Velma wants the kingdom for herself and will use her dark powers, and use of the occult,...

Producers/directors Louisa Warren and Scott Jeffrey have worked together multiple times, crafting films about creepy mermaids, scarecrows, and dolls. They’ve even made several horror Tooth Fairy movies. Jeffrey is currently collaborating with Rhys Frake-Waterfield on a series of films that will put a horror twist on public domain children’s stories like Peter Pan, Bambi, and Winnie the Pooh – and it started with Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. While they work on that, Warren has announced (via our friends at Bloody Disgusting) that she has two fractured fairy tale horror movies in the works: Cinderella’s Curse and Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre!
Coming our way from ChampDog Films, Cinderella’s Curse is expected to begin filming in the UK this month. ITN Studios is already planning to give it an October 2023 release. Warren is producing and will be directing, working from a script by Harry Boxley. Warren told Bloody Disgusting,...

We broke the news last week that Cinderella is getting her own horror movie with the upcoming Cinderella’s Curse, and Bloody Disgusting has learned this week that the same production company is developing another horror spin on a classic children’s tale.
A horror retelling of Sleeping Beauty, the film Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre is on the way from ChampDog Films, with shooting set to kick off this August in the UK.
ITN Studios will be distributing the upcoming horror movie, which will be produced and directed by Louisa Warren (Cinderella’s Curse). Jasmine Ebony Thomas is writing.
In the film, “The beautiful Princess Thalia is thrown to ruins after her father’s mysterious death. She lives with Prince Edison who she is in love with but can no longer marry since losing her status. Queen Velma wants the kingdom for herself and will use her dark powers, and use of the occult,...

I will continue to champion Christmas horror probably until the day I die. There’s honestly not much more to it than I love Christmas and I love horror but there is something about a film that mixes the two together nicely. Nicely might not be the word I’d use with The Killing Tree, ridiculously would be much more apt.
Where do I start with The Killing Tree?! Originally known as what I think is a better title, Demonic Christmas Tree. Not dissimilar to the classic Christmas horror B-movie Jack Frost, where a serial killer returns as a snowman, this time, on Christmas Eve, the widow of a murderer who has been executed, casts a spell to resurrect him.

If I have a particular weakness in the “bad horror movies” arena it’s for Bad Christmas Horror Movies, and it looks like we’ve got another winner on our hands with The Killing Tree.
Coming this holiday season from Uncork’d Entertainment, the purveyors of a certain type of horror movie, The Killing Tree unleashes a giant killer Christmas tree, of course!
The Killing Tree decks the halls with blood on Digital & DVD November 1, 2022.

Stars: Richard Harfst, Sian Altman, Louis James, George Nettleton, Sarah Alexandra Marks, Judy Tcherniak | Written by Matthew B.C., Scott Jeffrey, Mario von Czapiewski | Directed by Matthew B.C.
It’s usually not a good sign when a film has more than one title, so the fact that H.P. Lovecraft’s Monster Portal has been known simply as Monster Portal, as well as The Offering and Paranormal Cemetery, was a bit troubling. Being a Scott Jeffrey production It was already something of a crapshoot whether or not it would be any good so I approached it with fairly low expectations.
Director Matthew B.C. (Medusa) wrote the script from a story by Jeffrey and Mario von Czapiewski and he certainly gets things off to a good enough start. Peter records a message to his estranged daughter Celine (Sian Altman; The Curse of Humpty Dumpty) before allowing himself to be sacrificed to...
