Flaura is a London based editor of commercials, music videos, short films and long-form narrative. She is represented by Stitch for commercials and long-form, and by Homespun for music videos. Flaura started her career by editing music videos, and has worked with artists such as Harry Styles, Anne-Marie, Ben Howard, Massive Attack, Jess Glynne and Rudimental. Flaura received her first 'Best Edit' nomination for a music video at the UK Music Video Awards in 2018 for 'Body' by Estrons.
Flaura edited COLD, the feature film directed by Claire Coaché and Lisle Turner, in 2021. For her work on COLD, Flaura was awarded Best Editor at the RED Movie Awards 2022, the LA Independent Film Awards 2022, the New York Independent Cinema Awards 2022 and the LA Indies 2022.
Flaura has worked with director Ed Morris (represented by Riff Raff) on numerous projects, including editing his debut feature film, How To Stop A Recurring Dream, which has received Official Selections for over 10 international Film Festivals and which won Best Narrative Feature at Aesthetica Film Festival 2020 and Best Feature at the British Urban Film Festival 2020 and also at Magnolia Film Festival 2021.
Flaura has cut several award winning short films. She has edited two shorts for director Eros Vlahos - Right Place, Wrong Tim (2018) and Double Tap (2019). Right Place, Wrong Tim had its World Premiere at Frightfest in London in 2018 and both films gained Official Selection for SXSW Film Festival. Double Tap won Gold for Best Editing at the Kinsale Shark Short Film Awards in 2020.
Flaura also edited a short horror film called Nasty, directed by Prano Bailey-Bond, which has been screened at over 80 festivals worldwide including the BFI Film Festival in 2015. Nasty has received multiple awards including Winner Best International Short at the Women in Horror Film Festival 2017 and Winner Grand Prize International Competition at Dijon Short Film Festival 2016.
