Some hosts get a little bitter when their guests don’t show up! After Daft Punk canceled their appearance on The Colbert Report at the last minute, Stephen threw some major shade!
Some may say that Stephen Colbert was Daft “Punk‘d” on The Colbert Report on August 6, when the band canceled their appearance at the very last minute.
Stephen Colbert Disses Daft Punk
Apparently, Stephen didn’t “Get Lucky.” During his late-night show, Stephen kicked off “Stephest Colbchella ’013,” which was supposed to feature Daft Punk’s ”Get Lucky.”
“That’s right folks, French, electric pop megastars Daft Punk, the artists behind the hit ‘Get Lucky,’ on The Colbert Show … was something that was going to happen when we made this graphic,” Stephen said on his Comedy Central show after showing the “Stephest Colbchella” graphic that read “with special guests Daft Punk.”
“Unfortunately, Daft Punk is not here,” he said.

Remember the time Alec Baldwin got in hot water over that Twitter tirade? No, not the rant about American Airlines kicking him off a plane for playing Words With Friends. Or when the incessant coverage of his wedding set him off on the micro-blogging site. We’re talking about the one just last week where Baldwin laid into a Daily Mail reporter for suggesting his wife was tweeting during James Gandolfini’s funeral. That time.
But we don’t blame you for losing track. This is Baldwin’s third Twitter dust-up — and the third time he’s stated publicly that he’ll never tweet again.

You heard right! Late Sunday night at his show in Atlantic City, NJ, Kanye West announced that he and girlfriend Kim Kardashian are expecting their first child in 2013. Obviously, the Kardashian family immediately took to Twitter to share their joy -- and everyone else immediately took to Twitter to crack jokes. Hilarious, original jokes.
Or not.
The baby news has only been confirmed for 12 hours, and we're already sick of seeing the same wisecracks all over social media. America, we made them famous, and now we have to support each other as we deal with the fall-out. So if we could refrain from repeating the following 5 already-tired jokes for the next six months, that would be awesome.
1. The Mayans were right! Look, we get it. Last week, apocalypse jokes were all the rage, and since you're still recovering from your holiday vacation, you're too lazy to think of a new joke this week.

Shooting movies and selling hit records are some of the things that these stars do for a living. But there is one thing they love more than their job — charity.
Celebrity status comes with great power — power to influence and make a difference. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, and Demi Lovato are just a few celebs who raise their voice to make a difference.
Kristen Stewart:
Kristen is one of the most down to earth celebs, which makes her cool in our book. But what really makes us love Kristen is her willingness to help. Kristen recently appeared at the 12-12-12 concert at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 12, where she asked fans to donate towards Hurricane Sandy relief. She took it a step further for Sandy relief by donating her Zuhair Murad dress, which she wore to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 Los Angeles premiere,...

So far, so good. Singer Chris Brown returned to Twitter over the weekend after ditching the social media site for an entire week (!) following a vulgar exchange with comedy writer Jenny Johnson. And as he reintroduced himself to his over-11 million followers, there wasn't a naughty word in sight. "#CarpeDiem," Brown tweeted yesterday, and posted again today, "Time to start fresh. #newchapter." Sure, it's only the second day, but he's taking baby steps—can't knock him for that. However, this new Twitter venture to help rebuild Rihanna's, um, Bff's image might not work if Brown continues with his questionable Instagram...

The following day he expanded on that thought, adding, "Time to start fresh. New Chapter." Chris is breaking his silence for the first time since he deleted his Twitter account on Nov. 25 and he posted a simple message for his over 11 million fans. Chris Brown wants his fans to seize the day. The 23-year-old singer had removed his Twitter account after he got into a verbal battle with comedian Jenny Johnson, but it appears Chris wants back in the social media action. He tweeted on Dec. 4: "Carpe Diem." Which although it has the strong message of seize the day, it's also the name of his world tour. We told you that Chris and Jenny got into a fight when she tweeted: "Being a worthless piece of s**t can really age a person," in response to him posting a photo and saying he felt like he looked old. But we also were the first to reveal that Rihanna is responsible for Chris being back on the social media site.

Chris Brown returned from his Twitter exile over the weekend, breaking his week-long silence with -what else- a scandalous Instagram of himself with (ex?) girlfriend Rihanna. “What would music today sound like if these kids didn’t exist?” he captioned the snap, which looks suspiciously like a post-sex cigarette session. But then again, our minds are in the gutter. At the moment Breezy isn’t giving us much else to go on besides the priceless pic. So far he hasn’t mentioned his online feud with Jenny Johnson, or posted any other information to his more than 11 million followers. In fact, his previous tweets have all been erased, which leads us to wonder if Brown’s PR peeps are finally tightening the reigns.

Probably not, but we’re coining it now for couples who are unsure about making the deep commitment of becoming Facebook Official. “i don’t wanna leave!!! killed it tonight baby!!!” she captioned the intimate snap, the latest in a long line of hints that point to Riri and Brown leaving their troubled past behind and rekindling their old romantic flame.
