Michael T. Fiur, President & Executive Producer, is one of the leading producers of live event spectaculars in the world, having founded Fiur Productions in 2001 after 10 years at Radio City/MSG Entertainment. Fiur Productions is a comprehensive global entertainment production company based in the NY's Hudson Valley and NYC.
Fiur has helped shape the careers of many up-and-coming musical acts and draws upon his relationships with artists, athletes, managers, agents, publicists, and record labels to bring top name talent to a wide range of event platforms. He has gone from the 50-yard-line at the Super Bowl to Center Court in Arthur Ashe Stadium and from the Singapore Sports Hub to the top of One World Trade Center.
Fiur began his career working in government and politics in Binghamton, NY, while still a student at Binghamton University, and went on to serve as the right hand to Mayor Juanita M. Crabb for six years, working to revitalize that mid-sized, upstate city. It was there he discovered his passion for envisioning a project and seeing it through to completion. His keen attention to detail, the creative process and budget management became the cornerstone of his production approach.
Fiur utilizes a fully integrated approach to achieving creative content solutions across linear and non-linear platforms for all his clients with a particular focus on large-scale live music and sports events, as well as talent booking/management; corporate and civic events; TV specials; and theatrical productions.
Fiur is serving as Showrunner and Director for Josh Groban's Great Big Radio City Show residency at the famed Radio City Music Hall. In January 2020, worked on his 25th Super Bowl having produced 5 Halftime Shows, 3 Pregame Shows, 5 Opening Nights and 15 consecutive Lombardi Trophy Ceremonies, as well as several special projects for the NFL. In 2020, he is working on his 24th Consecutive US Open and Executive Producing his 24th Arthur Ashe Kids' Day, having also produced dozens of Ceremonies, including the US Open's 50th Anniversary Opening Night with Kelly Clarkson, which earned Sports Business Journal's Special Event of the Year.
In May, 2020, Fiur will serve as Talent Producer for his 4th consecutive Robin Hood Foundation Big Benefit. For 2021, the company will produce all of the entertainment for its 7th consecutive College Football Playoff National Championship Game in Miami, FL, along with booking all of the musical artists for the event.
Other projects include two events for the Roger Federation Foundation in Seattle, WA and San Francisco, CA; Billie Jean King's 75th Birthday in NYC; the WTA Finals in Shenzhen, China having produced the WTA Finals in Singapore for the prior five consecutive years; and the opening of NY's new One World Trade Center Observatory.
