This is so adorable! In a new viral video, 4-year-old Jackson was so overcome with emotion by the song ‘Say Something’ by Great Big World and Christina Aguilera that he started to cry! His dad tried to comfort him, and caught the whole thing on camera.
“Say Something” is definitely a tear jerker! 4-year- old Jackson learned this when he hears the Great Big World song on the radio and got super emotional. Luckily for us, his dad filmed the whole adorable thing, which has now gone viral!

Everybody knows the curiously specific sensation of feeling great about being sad. And now, thanks to the magic of YouTube, we have footage of a four-year-old discovering that feeling for the first time. Mark Blitch writes that this is the first moment his son Jackson has been "moved" by a song. In this case, it's A Great Big World's "Say Something," which features Christina Aguilera. The video's more than a little reminiscent of the other "tiny person bawls at song" video of recent memory, in which a baby cries at a mother's rendition of Rod Stewart's "My Heart Can't Tell You No.

Life is heavy, man. And this little guy is feeling it all. Mark Blitch was in the car with his 4-year-old son, Jackson, recently when A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera's "Say Something" came on the radio. "Say Something" a traumatizingly sad song and really should be played after a disclaimer telling you to change the channel if you don't want to spend the rest of the day absolutely wrecked with grief. Here is how Jackson reacted. Fun fact: This is how we react too: "My four-year old heard the song come on, so I changed it," Mark says. "But he wanted it back on for some reason. Here is the first moment that he has been 'moved.'" And before...

With a comic book-styled poster, horror comedy short The Code sees a couple's date go badly wrong when they are attacked by flesh-eating zombies.
But an apparent scheduling mishap with a chainsaw killer, a vampire and Bigfoot puts a whole new slant on the night.
Director Mark Blitch's six-minute, blood-slobbering monster mash-up won 11 awards at Houston's Splatterfest including best film, director, screenplay, editing, kill, splatter and special effects; and audience favourite film, story, kill and make-up.
The full video for The Code, starring Tamara Voss, Taylor James Brandt, Todd Terry and Daylon Walton, is embedded below. There's also an official Facebook page.
More gore is being spilled, this time of the Germanic variety, in Marc Rohnstock's Necronos.
Two new promo pictures have been released as a taster for the movie. One is rather gruesomely graphic, even with the already-censored areas blacked out; the other is included below.

Why Watch? In a world populated by terrifying horror movie monsters, you’ve got to organize who gets to kill on what nights, right? This short from Mark Blitch had me at the male porn star’s giggle and just kept the laughs coming. It admittedly gets into weird territory for the action, but, hey, why the hell not? This is what happens when horror gets interrupted by red tape, and the ridiculous results speak for themselves. What does it cost? Just 5 minutes of your time. Trust us. You have time for more short films.

The entries are in and the votes have been tabulated. I will now announce the two awesome, clever winners of the Planet Fury/SplatterFest 2011 Oasis of Terror Contest.
But first, I want to extend a hearty thanks to Kerry Beyer and Kelly Burns Smith, the perpetual motion machine that keeps SplatterFest running. They've been most gracious and have shown Planet Fury a lot of consideration this year. What they've done down in Houston is pretty cool. Besides being two of the nicest and most attractive people in Southeast Texas (seriously, you should see them), they are also two of the most committed people…or they are two of the most often committed people — I always mix that up. Whatever. Kelly and Kerry don't seem too dangerous, and after watching them in action, I appreciate all the sleep they sacrifice to make SplatterFest happen. They are truly the keepers of the flame.
