[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for all of Manifest.] “I’m so curious to see, because with Lost, it was so all over the place. Well, everyone hates it. So I’m hoping that we have some people who love our show and how it ends,” Melissa Roxburgh says of fans’ reactions to the end of Manifest. We can’t help but think of the Lost finale with how the NBC-turned-Netflix series signed off with the arrival of the Death Date: Flight 828, after the passengers boarded the plane, faced their judgments, and stopped the apocalypse, landed as it should have in New York on April 7, 2013. Michaela (Roxburgh) gave Jared (J.R. Ramirez) he’d been waiting for (along with the ring), and though he didn’t know it, pointed him in Drea’s (Ellen Tamaki) direction. Then, remembering Zeke (Matt Long) was still alive and at the airport, she ran out to ...

Of course the series finale of Manifest ends on the Death Date – as it should. Morning arrives as Netflix’s Manifest season four episode 20, “Final Boarding,” begins with the Stones and their friends still at their Storm King Mountain campsite. The fissure is pulsating blue, and Olive (Luna Blaise) can still feel her brother even if he’s not there.
Suddenly, the ground shakes and they realize they’re not out of the woods yet.
As Olive and Tj (Garrett Wareing) chase after Eden, they discover a rock near where Michaela and Ben’s initials are carved into a tree. The rock has an engraving that matches the volcano on the World card but with the added touch of the scales of justice carved into the rock’s surface.
Ben (Josh Dallas) realizes the fate of the world hangs in the balance, and the inscription underneath isn’t legible. (Someone’s graffitied over it.

The penultimate episode of Netflix’s Manifest begins with a flashback to Ben and Michaela as kids. Season four episode 19 reveals that as kids, they made a deal not to compete and instead to be equals, with their mom insisting that as co-captains they’ll be stronger together.
Current events find Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh) and Ben (Josh Dallas) sharing a brief moment of sibling bonding, with Michaela teasing her big brother about the smell of perfume clinging to his clothes. It’s one day until the Death Date, and Ben’s been trying to keep the 828ers calm, assuring them it’s not over until it’s over.

Netflix’s Manifest season four episode 17 takes an eight-month time jump to May 2, 2024, exactly one month prior to the Death Date. Drea (Ellen Tamaki) is about to give birth to Jared’s baby – which she didn’t tell him about when he got back together with Michaela – and returns home from shopping with her mom but won’t let her inside her the building. She claims she doesn’t want to show it off until she has it all fixed up, but the real reason is that there’s nothing inside.
She purchased the place near the detention center and has been busy attempting to break through the wall.
Inside the center, Ben (Josh Dallas) is now the unofficial mayor and everyone’s busy with their assigned jobs. There’s a healthy vegetable garden, but the rations are running low.

Bill Daly’s blood has apparently turned the Hudson River red outside of the 828 detention center as Netflix’s Manifest season four episode 15 opens. The mood among NY citizens is darkening with this new development, and more people are turning against the 828ers since they appear to be the cause of multiple plagues.
The passengers holed up in the safe house wonder if they need to find a new place to hide out. Co-captain Daniel Amuta (Leajato Amara Robinson) is in charge, and he orders his fellow 828ers to get ready to hunker down. “The city’s a powder keg,” says Amuta.
Ben (Josh Dallas) is certain that having Angelina locked up at the center is a horrible idea. He suggests that Director Zimmer consider using Saanvi’s calling-suppressing serum on Angelina, but Zimmer claims that holding Angelina in isolation is enough.

“When we boarded 828, we had no idea what a tortured, life-changing journey we were about to embark on,” Ben (Josh Dallas) says in the trailer for Manifest‘s final episodes. “And now we’re finally at the end.” But what does that end look like? Simply put: not good. They’re not resolving enough Callings to survive the Death Date, and that day is quickly approaching. Cal’s (Ty Doran) glowing again. Angelina (Holly Taylor) thinks God chose her to guide those worthy through the final judgment. Michaela (Melissa Roxburg) and Ben Stone (Josh Dallas), Jared Vasquez (J.R. Ramirez) and more are back in action and chasing down any and all leads to figure out how to beat their expiration date in the trailer for “Manifest” Season 4, which Netflix dropped Saturday. (You can watch it above)
The passengers of Montego Air Flight 828, who went missing five and a half years ago, only to return like no time had passed, have an expiration date of June 2, 2024.
“I had a calling, it was awful,” Ben says to his sister Michaela at the beginning of the trailer. “Everything was swallowed by ash.”
The trailer follows Ben as he swipes his finger across a dusty (or ashy) desktop, before cutting to a shot of a volcano looking ready to erupt.

“Manifest” has been canceled at NBC after three seasons, Variety has confirmed.
The news comes as the supernatural drama has been released on Netflix, where it currently sits at No. 1 in the streamer’s U.S. Top 10. However, sources tell Variety that the show is hoping to find a new home elsewhere.
The single-camera series had generally produced favorable ratings, particularly in its first season, during which three additional episodes were added.

The series premiered in September 2018 and follows the crew and passengers of a commercial plane who suddenly reappear after being presumed dead for five years. Soon into its second season, NBC’s Manifest not only switched things up by giving Grace callings, it introduced several new faces that could change the Stones’ lives for the better… or possibly for the worse.
For one, Michaela has been assigned a new partner at the NYPD, a development that she warmly embraced. “Jared was the love of her life, but he’s starting to cross lines that Mick can’t handle right now,” Melissa Roxburgh tells TVLine. “He’s not giving her the space to figure out her life and what happened to the plane, so she has to distance herself from that.

We spoke to the cast and showrunner of Manifest during their appearance at New York Comic Con about what we can expect in season 2.
Showrunner Jeff Rake brought the entire principal cast of Manifest to New York Comic Con this year, and nearly all of them had an enticing detail to share about where their character might head in season 2. Although the first trailer was also released at the convention, it announced a later than expected Spring 2020 return date, so while we wait to learn the answers to questions like who got shot and what the Major will do to Saanvi, here’s a little of what we learned during our time on the Manifest press line.
Manifest season 2 will be more tightly paced with fewer episodes.

Oh, how the tables have turned.
It took some time to get here, but the Charmed Ones finally claimed their power.
What an epic display of women power it was.
There is a lot to dissect from Charmed(2018) Season 1 Episode 18, as the show will seemingly never break it’s habit of cramming as much content as possible into a single episode. Luckily, most of that content was worth the watch.
Most of it.
There were a lot of returning guests in “The Replacement,” but unfortunately most of their appearances felt relatively pointless to the episode.

It’s always lovely to see Ellen Tamaki, especially when she's sharing the screen with Melanie Diaz. Anything these two do together is worth watching, and Mel working Niko's engagement party was gut-wrenching.
However, their scenes at the bar felt like a waste of story space.

NBC won’t leave fans of Manifest with that major cliffhanger, with a second season set to drop in January 2020.
Manifest Season 2 is coming soon to NBC.
The Peacock’s Abrams/Lost-esque mystery box series was renewed for a full second season, which will premiere in January 2020. The move wasn’t exactly surprising, with Manifest having emerged as TV’s most-watched new series of the 2018-2019 TV season. (Check out our coverage and episode recaps for Manifest right here!)
As Lisa Katz and Tracey Pakosta, co-presidents scripted programming at NBC Entertainment, expressed in a statement:
"In just its first season, Manifest has answered many questions about the mystery of Flight 828 and, smartly, asks many more. Congratulations to [creator] Jeff Rake, our producers, cast and crew who have created an incredibly addictive series with compelling characters and complex relationships."

The CW's reboot of Charmed may be coming back for a sophomore run, but it looks like there will be some big changes.
Showrunner Carter Covington is bowing out after just one season and is being replaced by Liz Kruger and Craig Shapiro, according to Deadline.
The pair are said to be taking the series in a new direction, one that will focus more on the supernatural aspect as opposed to the family side of things.
While that's not to say the family dynamics will be left in the rear-view mirror, it does sound like the creative forces are more confident in taking the show in a darker direction.

The CW’s reboot of “Charmed” is changing showrunners.
Variety has learned that Carter Covington has stepped down as showrunner on the series, which has already been renewed for a second season. Husband and wife team Craig Shapiro and Elizabeth Kruger have been brought on to helm the series going forward.
Shapiro and Kruger are currently under an overall deal at CBS Television Studios, which produces “Charmed.” The team previously co-created the CBS series “Salvation” along with Matt Weaver and served as co-showrunners. They also executive produced and served as co-showrunners on the CBS series “Extant” starring Halle Berry. In addition, they co-created USA Network series “Necessary Roughness” and ran the writers room on Bravo’s “Girlfriends’ Guide To Divorce.” Their other credits include “Bull,” “Pan Am,” and “Miami Medical.” They are repped by UTA.

Jimmy Tatro and Scott Porter have been cast in an upcoming episode of the first season of the CW’s “Charmed,” Variety has learned exclusively.
Tatro, who is best known for “American Vandal” and a recent stint on the second season of “The Guest Book,” will guest star as a “bad boy” angel named Gideon, while Porter will guest star as “good guy” angel Levi.
Gideon and Levi are a brother duo from a show within the show — a 1990s TV drama called “Heaven’s Vice” — on which they are tasked with saving mankind from the devil and his minions. Through a “magical mix-up,” they cross over into the real world and arrive in Hilltown via a portal, understandably confused and “quite the handful” for the sisters.
This episode is set to air in the spring, towards the end of the show’s first season.

Charmed is officially returning to the air later this year, but instead of it being a revival series, it will be a reboot, complete with a new cast and characters.
Holly Marie Combs, a lead on the original series which aired from 1998 to 2006 on The WB has, once again, opened up about her thoughts on this new series.
The actress took to Twitter on Sunday to share a screenshot of a message she sent to reporter, Jenna Amatulli.
"Let me say first that I appreciate the jobs and opportunities the Charmed reboot has created," the actress begins her lengthy message.
"But I will never understand what is fierce, funny, or feminist in creating a show that basically says the original actresses are too old to do a job they did 12 years ago," she continued.

At long last my favorite channel, the CW, has had their upfront and laid out their 6-day lineup for us. Since CW was the one channel got rid of the fewest shows there’s only 3 new shows that will be added this fall. But they are making a bold attempt this year by pushing programming into Sunday nights. Let’s go ahead and take a look at their lineup.
Well to start off our week Supergirl will be moving to Sunday nights and will be followed by the all-new revived Charmed.

Charmed is officially being rebooted by The CW.
The young-skewing network officially placed an order for the series last week, and now we have the first trailer.
The official logline reads:
After the tragic death of their mother, three sisters in a college town are stunned to discover they are witches.
Soon this powerful threesome must stand together to fight the everyday and supernatural battles that all modern witches must face: from vanquishing powerful demons to toppling the patriarchy.
This reboot stars Madeleine Mantock, Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, Rupert Evans, Ser'Darius Blain, Ellen Tamaki and Charlie Gillespie.
At first glance, the similarities to the original series are uncanny, and the Book of Shadows looks pretty snazzy.
However, I didn't really dig Rupert Evans as the Whitelighter. I mean, he's a great actor, but the first glimpse of him in the role was not that great.

The CW revealed a 2018-2019 TV schedule on Thursday with 12 hours of original scripted series — which The CW president Mark Pedowitz boasted was more than any other broadcast network except CBS.
“The more programming we have, the better off we are,” said The CW president Mark Pedowitz. “It includes our own cwtv.com, as well as the back end that the studios have on the Netflix arrangement. The affiliates were very much supportive of having another night of programming provided by the CW. It was combination of a multiple of things. We do believe in broadcast, we are growing and we wanted to stake a claim that we can grow while others contract.”
The CW will return to Sunday night with two female-centric shows as counterprogramming to NBC’s NFL football: “Supergirl” and the new version of “Charmed.”
