Amber Tierney from Nebraska was one of the first seven girls eliminated on "The Bachelor's" two-hour premiere Monday night (Jan. 2). She agrees with our assessment that it was a bit surprising she went home.
On deciding to do "The Bachelor":
"I kinda did it on a whim. One of my friends is a huge fan of the show ... I didn't know if I really wanted to, and she kind of talked me into it."
On her going home:
"I was a little surprised. I was a little bit disappointed as well just because I did see that Jenna had gotten a rose. It kind of made me question Ben's choices, but then I kind of realized she was pretty fragile at that time."
Speaking of Jenna ...
"Personally, I kind of thought she was a little bit of a hot mess ... I was pretty shocked with how upset that she did get.
