Actor Mike Batayeh, best known for playing laundromat manager Dennis Markowski on ‘Breaking Bad’, has passed away after suffering a heart attack. He was 52. His family confirmed that the actor died on June 1 in his sleep of a heart attack while he was at his home in Michigan, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Mike’s sister Diane told TMZ that his death “was very sudden, as he didn’t have a history of heart issues”.
In a statement, his family said: “He will be greatly missed by those who loved him and his great ability to bring laughter and joy to so many.”
Mike was known for portraying manager Dennis Markowski of Gustavo Fring’s (Giancarlo Esposito) Lavanderia Brillante laundromat on ‘Breaking Bad’.
The laundromat itself was a legitimate business front for Walter White’s (Bryan Cranston) meth lab.

In the wake of MGM television head Mark Burnett exiting the studio and Amazon on Monday, Amazon is re-organizing MGM’s TV division: folding its Orion Television label into the larger scripted side of MGM and axing the label just two years after it relaunched.
Amazon’s TV chief Vernon Sanders announced the news to staff on Tuesday in a memo obtained by IndieWire, adding that Orion TV head Bradley Gardner is exiting. Gardner is negotiating a producing deal at MGM TV.
The re-launched Orion Television was behind the rebooted “Teen Wolf: The Movie,” which is expected to stream on Paramount+ next year. Gardner came over to lead the division from Paramount Network and focused on comedy and drama series for the label.

More creatures, more action, more stunts, more zombies, more guns, more Alice. Another new international trailer (labeled as #2) has arrived online for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, the final movie in the Resident Evil cinematic series, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, once again starring Milla Jovovich. The full cast includes Ruby Rose, Ali Larter, Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, William Levy, Eoin Macken, Rola and Lee Joon-Gi. The team of survivors head to Raccoon City for one final showdown to put an end to all the madness. This trailer is similar to the other second Us trailer, but with even more footage of the various monsters and zombies they have to fight their way through. Admittedly, this looks better than expected, but it also doesn't look that good - probably perfect for a January release. Take a look. Here's the new international trailer for W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil: The Final Chapter,...

I think this is a much better trailer than the one that was released at Nycc earlier this month.

The New York Comic-Con has been over for a couple days now, but one of the panels that really drew a huge boisterous crowd was Screen Gems’ panel for Underworld: Blood Wars and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, both opening in January.
As the title says, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is meant to end the series of six movies that began with Paul W.S. Anderson’s Resident Evil in 2002. From the very beginning, Milla Jovovich has played the films’ enigmatic kick-butt heroine Alice, and The Final Chapter is meant to put a close to her story.
Jovovich and Anderson came to the Theater at Madison Square Garden, along with Ali Larter, William Levy and Eoin Macken, to present the amazing new trailer for the movie, which you can watch below:
Right before the panel and trailer debut, Lrm had a chance to sit down and chat with Anderson.

"Sometimes I feel like this has been my whole life - running, killing." Screen Gems has debuted the second full-length for the sixth Resident Evil movie, and apparently the final one, as it's called Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. This has arrived online after premiering at the New York Comic-Con. I do appreciate the epic scope and scale, I just hope it's actually better than the last few movies. Here's the second...

Screen Gems has released an official full trailer for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and it features Milla Jovovich out for revenge and battling what looks to be complete insanity. It looks like director Paul W.S. Anderson went all-out on this thing and this franchise could very well end on a badass note. I haven't really cared for the past couple of Resident Evil films, but I have to admit that this looks like it's going to be a blast.

"We've played a long game, you and I, but now it's over."
The Resident Evil film franchise is finally coming to an end with Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, and it looks like it's going to close out with an explosive bang. The first Japanese teaser trailer has been released, and as it points out, everything has been leading up to this moment.... the final showdown between good and evil!
We've seen both good and bad films come through this franchise, but for the most part, the franchise as a whole has been entertaining. My favorite film out of the series is the first one, and I'm hoping that this final movie closes it out strong.

Screen Gems has released a very brief promo spot for Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Apparently, this will be the last film in the long-running franchise. Milla Jovovich has been posting lots of photos from the set of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter during its production. She most recently shared a photo of herself as "old Alice" on her Instagram account. The image came with the following caption:

As if the steady stream of behind-the-scenes photos didn’t give it away, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is currently in the thick of production in Cape Town, South Africa, and series stalwart Milla Jovovich has shared a very strange image from the set.
Sporting striking make-up, the actress took to Instagram earlier today to unveil Old Alice, raising all manner of questions about where director Paul W. S. It doesn’t necessarily spoil anything in the strictest sense of the word, though if you’re wanting to remain totally fresh for The Final Chapter, we’d advise against going any further.

Milla Jovovich has posted a photo of herself in character for the currently shoting "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter," but not in the way you would expect. The actress shared a photo of the make-up job she went under to play an elderly version of her character in the film.
For those thinking the actress just gave away a big spoiler, you're barking up the wrong tree as she says: "for all those who think this look is for the end of the movie, it's not." She also adds that she'll be posting a sexy selfie in the make-up later on.
The final film in the series sees Alice joining forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle as she fights to save humanity which is on the brink of oblivion. Ali Larter, Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, Willam Levy, Fraser James and Rola also star.

Six months after giving birth, Milla Jovovich is ready to kick some ass. The actress was spotted on the set of "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" in South Africa this week, where we got the first full-body glimpse of Alice's new getup for the highly-anticipated horror flick. Sporting a tank-top, hooded jacket, harness, skin-tight black pants, leather gloves and some combat boots, the banged-up 39-year-old looked more than prepared to take on the undead after welcoming daughter Dashiel back in late March. Milla was joined on set by Ali Larter, Eoin Macken, Fraser James, William Levy and Japanese model Rola -- who, along with costar Ruby Rose, have all been sharing photos from behind the scenes all month. Check out their candids in the gallery above! Constantin Film will produce Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Director, Paul W.S. Anderson, who wrote the screenplay, will shoot the film on location in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

History will attest as to whether 2017’s Resident Evil: The Final Chapter truly was the last entry in the franchise (it’s not like horror movie series don’t have form announcing themselves as the last midway through the run), but the new one has certainly been locking down its cast with production underway. A mix of new and returning faces are aboard including Orange Is The New Black’s Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, William Levy, Fraser James and Japanese model/TV personality Rola.Milla Jovovich is naturally back as Alice, with fellow veterans Iain Glen (Dr. Isaacs) and Shawn Roberts (Albert Wesker) back and Ali Larter also in place. The new film, somewhat understandably, picks up right from the end of Retribution, with humanity facing its final fight after Alice is betrayed by the sneaky Wesker in Washington D.C. She’ll have to go back to where it...
