- Darren D. Dickerson is founder and CEO of DSD Publicity Consulting, and its digital extension, Image Geyser. Currently, Dickerson also serves as Head of Publicity & Marketing for MegaMind Media, a black-owned, full service, production company.
Specializing in talent representation, and television/film PR, Dickerson's current roster of clients includes MegaMind Media, Black Girls Rock!, eBay, actress Vanessa Bell Calloway (This Is Us), and director Benny Boom (All American). He also secured feature stories on Oprah, Dateline, Good Morning America, and 20/20; negotiated guest appearances on MTV, BET, VH1 and Nickelodeon programming.
For a time, Dickerson served as Director of New Business Development for Tobin & Associates, the venerable public relations agency founded by industry icon Patricia "Pat" Tobin. Representing clients that included Chandra Wilson (Grey's Anatomy), James Pickens (Grey's Anatomy), Christen Clemenson (CSI), Toyota Motor Sales, Nestle, Sony Pictures Television, Hallmark Channel, Fitzgerald's Casino, and the National Newspaper Publisher's Association, Dickerson covered every aspect of public relations while working at Tobin.
Before Tobin & Associates, Dickerson managed media relations and produced events for Universal Pictures, Gramercy Pictures, Ruthless Records, Death Row Records, FOX Sports West and The Magic Johnson Foundation.
