'We don't inherit the Earth from our forefathers, we borrow it from our children.'
With this quote as my mantra, I set my sights on combining my passion for wildlife with my experience in filmmaking and adding a healthy dose of compelling storytelling. The end result was a desire to create emotive, immersive wildlife documentaries, which inspire viewers on a global plane, and educate them on our natural world and its unique wildlife.
To date I have Directed/Produced/Written almost 50 Wildlife Documentaries for International broadcast.
I am honoured to have been awarded a Golden Panda Award for Best Wildlife Film - Saving Rhino Phila.
A Roscar Award for Best Wildlife Film - Saving Rhino Phila.
A SAFTA Award for Best Wildlife Film - Hippo vs Croc.
A Japan Film Festival Award for Best Environmental Film - All the President's Elephants.
On my list of writer/producer/director credits are doccies produced for Animal Planet, Smithsonian Networks, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, NHU Africa, Canal +, ORF and ARTE.
I continue to strive in my quest to tell wildlife stories in a fresh way that brings unique insight into the mysteries of our natural world - and captivates the viewer. I want them to fall in love with the animal characters - like I do. I believe it is only when we understand and admire something, that we feel compelled to preserve it.
