Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you haven't watched the season 13 finale of Grey's Anatomy. Read creator Shonda Rhimes' statement about the latest exit here.
Grey’s Anatomy bid farewell to another Grey Sloan doctor.
On Thursday’s season 13 finale, titled “Ring of Fire,” the aftermath of last week’s shocking explosion left many fans wondering about the fate of Dr. Stephanie Edwards (Jerrika Hinton), who was thrown from the blast after attempting to stop it from happening in the first place.
Though Stephanie miraculously survived, the harrowing experience she went through afterward -- saving the young girl, Erin, from losing her leg and keeping them both safe from the fire -- was traumatic enough to set her on a new path and say goodbye to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. As a result, Thursday’s finale marked Hinton’s final episode as a series regular on Grey’s.

Warning: The following is a virtual IV drip of spoilers for the Season 13 finale of Grey’s Anatomy.
Going into Thursday’s explosive Grey’s Anatomy, it certainly looked as if the Season 13 finale was going to be unlucky for Stephanie. But Megan’s resurrection also promised to blow up Meredith’s fledgling romance with Nathan, and all those recent Jackson/Maggie scenes suggested that April might be about to get burned, too. Who, if any of them, made it out unscathed? Who made it out at all? Read on…

Hope for the best but prepare for the worst. That has been my guiding principle in thirteen seasons of watching Grey's Anatomy. Through bombs, drownings, ice storms, shooters, plane crashes, super storms, and earthquakes, that motto has served me well. The plan for this year's season finale, "Ring of Fire," was no different. When last we left our surgeons of Seattle Grace Mercy West Grey Sloan Memorial, Stephanie was missing and the hospital was aflame. My assumption was, of course, that Stephanie was a dead duck and the hospital would soon be in ashes. Was I correct? Read on.

Okay, one thing's for certain: I am not going hiking in the woods anytime soon.
Yeah, sure, the victims in Grimm Season 6 Episode 9 were all vile, nature-destroying malefactors, but what a way to go...!
This story featured not one but two flora-related beings, the kinoshimobe and the people-eating tree. It's really sort of perplexing that this sort of thing hasn't come up before, actually.
I found it a little bit frustrating that they are still throwing new world-building elements at us when there are so few episodes left in the series.
Really, this story would fit in far better with earlier episodes such as Grimm Season 1 Episode 7, "Let Your Hair Down," or even Grimm Season 2 Episode 18, "Ring of Fire."
(Wouldn't it have been awesome for Holly Clark to have made her home in a man-eating tree?)
It all feels a little wasted that we the viewers will never get to...

If you’re already sold on the idea of Jason Statham going up against a colossal and prehistoric megalodon shark, we have some bad news for you; Variety is reporting that Meg, Jon Turteltaub’s maritime thriller of one man’s encounter with a monster from a bygone era, has been postponed to August 10th, 2018.
That’s a full five-month delay from its original release window of March 2018, but the news effectively safeguards Meg from an untitled Fox/Marvel project. Set to be released in 3D and IMAX theaters – not unlike the Pirhana series – Jon Turteltaub’s giant shark pic is based on Steve Alten’s 1997 sci-fi novel, Meg: A Novel of Deep Terror. Telling the story of one Jonas Taylor (Statham?), Alten’s page-turner follows our decorated deep sea diver into the murky depths of the Mariana Trench, where he counters the 75-foot behemoth, live and in the flesh.

Loosely inspired by the story of David Walsh and the Bre-x Minerals mining scandal in the 1990’s, Gold is director Stephen Gaghan’s first wide release directorial effort since Syriana over a decade ago. Unlike that film though, Gaghan didn’t handle writing duties here, and quality may have suffered because of it.
Scripted intricacies in Gold are not nearly as incisive and sophisticated as previous Gaghan efforts like Syriana or his Oscar-winning screenplay for Traffic. Instead, writers Patrick Massett and John Zinman constantly rely on fortune cookie-style dialogue to hammer home messages that never reach the profoundness they so desire. It’s still a fascinating story, with a topsy-turvy third act that’s fairly engaging finale if you weren’t already familiar with the real life scandal, but what really saves this film from mediocrity starts and ends with Matthew McConaughey.

Millennial MacGyver starts to look more like his old (future?) self on MacGyver Season 1 Episode 7. In the strongest episode of the young series, Mac is mostly cut off from his support team, and his mission is more exciting because of it.
Mac goes undercover as an inmate, and for a split second before he enters the prison I thought we’d get to see a Prison-Break version of MacGyver, with a map, blueprints or relevant information inked all over his body.
But I guess that’s not very MacGyver-y. He gets some useful info from ex-con Riley, but he’s an improviser at heart.
Mac’s alter ego “Frank Morris” looked seriously out of place in a maximum security prison in Texas. After picking a fight with a random inmate to prove to El Noche that he belongs, Mac tries to convince the drug lord that he can help him break out – for $2 million.

Dwayne Johnson has a truly insane shooting schedule lined up for 2016. He's filming season 2 of HBO's Ballers, then moves straight into Baywatch, Fast & Furious 8, and his live-action adaptation of the video game Rampage. But he's not resting on his laurels: this man likes to work, and THR reports that he's going to face off against more earthquakes in a sequel to San Andreas.

“Do not let your eyes see or your ears hear that which you cannot account for.” Abraham Van Helsing’s warning to three men in disbelief of the living dead has a blunt message: Our senses can lie to us. Anthony Hopkins’s off-kilter professor may be one of the top-billed “jewels” in what Francis Ford Coppola deemed his proverbial “crown” of 1992, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, but his words feel ironic next to the lavish production design of Dante Ferretti and Thomas Sanders. Their work, along with Ishioka Eiko’s Japanese Gothic hybrid costuming, is a visual feast, sensual in its ebonies and crimsons and a sleek, sexy companion to Wojciach Kilar’s music. The director behind Filmed In Supermarionation doc plans to film 3 audio-only 1966 Thunderbirds stories using original puppet technique...
Those who stuck with it will know that ITV's recent revival of Thunderbirds is acquitting itself pretty well over the course of its run. Crammed with action, its fun, eventful adventures are lively and entertaining family fare, all to the credit of its creators.
One thing it isn't though, and few will argue with you on this, is Thunderbirds of old.
If a return to the past is what you're after, then director Stephen La Riviere is your man. After making celebrated documentary Filmed In Supermarionation, La Riviere now plans to use the puppets produced for the purposes of that doc to bring to life three 1960s audio-only Thunderbirds episodes featuring the original voice cast, that have never before been adapted for screen.

The BBC’s The Musketeers will have to cope without its showrunner Adrian Hodges for its already-confirmed third series…
Here’s an interesting one – Adrian Hodges, creator and showrunner for the BBC’s The Musketeers, won't be signing on for the third series.
A third run for the family-friendly historical action drama has already been confirmed by the BBC (we can expect it early next year, if previous broadcast dates are anything to go by), but Hodges has ruled himself out for a return.
Our friends at Geek Syndicate got the scoop on the matter, with a quote from the man himself explaining his reason for leaving his own show:
“I just felt that after the last season I was totally knackered. I love the show but it had been a very intensive two…well four years really and what I didn’t want to go was go straight into developing a new season.

It's always a big risk tinkering with a much-loved classic - particularly something that was a big part of people's childhoods - but the creative forces behind Thunderbirds Are Go! have promised that this 2015 revamp of the '60s Supermarionation series retains all that made the original so great.
Indeed, die-hard fans will be happy to hear that a good deal remains unchanged - from the off, Peter Dyneley's stirring countdown-to-launch and the subsequent swell of that classic theme tune deliver a rush of glorious nostalgia.
But it's also more than a mere nostalgia trip, with enough changes put into place to ensure that the show works as colourful, engaging fodder for the 6-11 year-olds of today.
As befits a modern series, and one intended primarily for children, the pace is utterly relentless throughout - a lack of incident is certainly not a problem that Thunderbirds Are Go! suffers from.

Thunderbirds Are Go! has an action-packed launch, but its script and CG are far from top-notch. Will the revamp live up to its potential?
This review contains spoilers.
1.1 Ring Of Fire
Not only are the Thunderbirds gang back, they’ve also been appended with “are go!” - and boy, do they ever go. Sylvia and Gerry Anderson’s much-loved show, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, screeches and blasts its way on to the small screen and doesn’t hold up for 45 minutes or so.
The puppets, and their charm it has to be said, may have been replaced by computer-generated characters, but the iconic ships and Tracy Island remain, for the most part, as beautiful standing-set models produced by Weta (The Lord Of The Rings).
This first instalment, which sees two episodes aired together as one, neatly introduces to the International Rescue troupe. All the Tracy brothers remain, though...

Gage Blackwell is fulfilling the dreams of so many as he got to sing with Dolly Parton!
The country artist sang some of her best ballads to the boy with down syndrome. The videos are posted on his Facebook page and are bringing smiles to more than just Gage.
When the 69-year-old singer first meets Gage, she jokes, "Is that Kenny Rogers? You look like Kenny Rogers! Did anybody ever tell you that?" She also gives him the nickname of Gage Rogers and sings her hit that she sang with Kenny, "Island in the Stream."
Post by Gage Blackwell.

She sings "Ring of Fire," "9 to 5," "Coat of Many Colors" and "Jolene" to Gage as he knows all her songs.
Post by Gage Blackwell.
"We might be going on the road before you know it," Dolly says to the happy boy and then signs an autograph for him.

Sometimes, when I watch The Voice, I feel like Charlie Brown going to kick Lucy’s football.

You can’t believe everything you hear on TV — not even (or perhaps especially) when it’s packaged in flannel-shirt wrapping paper, a folksy Oklahoma-accent and a corporate edict to keep the 18-49 demo rating above 3 million.
Which is why I didn’t let myself get angry or dismayed by Blake Shelton’s ridiculous exaggeration during The Voice‘s Top 10 performance episode on Monday: “This is the best live show I have ever seen in seven seasons.”
Dude, seriously?
I don’t believe for a second that the country coach believes such ridiculousness — not after an evening marked by incredibly insipid song selection,...

As you know, music plays a huge part in the filmmaking process and plays with our emotions while we are watching the movie. Music heightens our senses and adds to the quality of film. When it comes to horror movies, the music is supposed to scare us, make us feel uneasy, and gives us moments of panic and fear. Director Martin Scorsese said the following about music and film:
“Music and cinema fit together naturally. Because there’s a kind of intrinsic musicality to the way moving images work when they’re put together. It’s been said that cinema and music are very close as art forms, and I think that’s true.”
Just the other day the main theme song from Halloween started playing on the radio, and it freaked my kids out to the point that they were in tears. It was sad but kind of funny at the same time.

Constantine Season 1, Episode 1: “Non Est Asylum”
Written by David Goyer and Daniel Cerone
Directed by Neil Marshall
Airs Fridays at 10 pm Et on NBC
The opening shot of Constantine is quite rich. It’s a medium shot, straight ahead, of the Ravenscar Secure Facility, the mental asylum that John Constantine (Matt Ryan) admits himself in to when he inadvertently damns the soul of his friend’s daughter, Astra, to Hell in the Hellblazer comic. Immediately, there is a nod to the source material, as well as establishing that our protagonist isn’t right in the head or the ethical department, but there’s a tiny chance he could change. “Non Est Asylum” is all about how Constantine isn’t at home in Heaven or Hell, but somewhere in between (Even though he is currently damned). He, his best friend and driver Chas (a laconic Charles Halford), and another friend...

In May of 2013, WWE started to air vignettes of a bizarre trio that had been popularized through Nxt. These three misfits, led by their leader Bray Wyatt, immediately made an impression on WWE television with depictions of rocking chairs and sheep masks, promising to revolutionize the company to more of a darker edge. This feud, albeit short, culminated at the SummerSlam pay-per-view, in which Bray won a “Ring of Fire” match against the big red monster.

Lemon hasn't had the best luck in the love department on "Hart of Dixie" in the past. But since her return to Bluebell, she's become the embodiment of the saying, "When it rains, it pours," since she's dating not one, but two extremely attractive, eligible bachelors. First, there's the perfect Southern gentleman, Carter Covington, who's wooing Lemon in all the traditional ways. Then, there's the hot, Latin lover, Enrique, who Lemon can't seem to resist -- even though she doesn't understand what he's saying most of the time.
Jaime King tells Zap2it that the guys' competition for Lemon's affection reaches a point where they literally fight for her in this Friday's (March 28) episode, "Ring of Fire," during the Renaissance Fair. "I don't want to give away too much about the big battle scene," King teases, "but expect a lot of fun costumes and awesome makeup and really fun shenanigans going on.

Now that Lemon's two (count 'em, two) boyfriends know about each other, they're going to do all they can to win Lemon's heart on "Hart of Dixie."
Even -- gasp! -- fight to the death?
Now, this isn't "Game of Thrones," so we won't be dealing with any bloody battles or ceremonious deaths. But we will get to see Carter Covington and Enrique fight in a medieval battle during Bluebell's Renaissance Fair on "Ring of Fire" on Friday (March 28).
Lavon thinks their competition for Lemon will drive up ticket sales, but will it also make Lemon realize this isn't all fun and games? Will she end up with zero boyfriends by the end of it?
Watch a promo for the episode below:
"Hart of Dixie" airs Fridays at 9 p.m. Et on The CW.

Terry Brooks' multi-installment Shannara series, estimated to be the highest-selling un-adapted fantasy book series in the world with Brooks considered to be the second-highest-selling living fantasy author, is heading to the small screen on a very unlikely channel...
Per THR's The Live Freed, MTV is teaming with Jon Favreau and "Smallville" co-creators Al Gough and Miles Millar in a development deal that comes with a straight-to-series commitment, which means that should network execs like the script, the project would bypass the traditional pilot stage.
The Shannara series first started in 1977 with The Sword of Shannara and encompasses multiple trilogies and a prequel, totaling 25 books, with Brooks most recently publishing Witch Wraith in July. Another three are due to be published in 2014. And what living legend has sold more books? Only Harry Potter's J.K. Rowling. Not bad company to be in.
Shannara takes place thousands of years after the destruction of our civilization.
