Michelle Patkowski

Michelle Patkowski was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, she resides in the rural Yass Valley, NSW and manages Complex Trauma Disorder successfully.
She studied and was a working Actor in her early twenties.
In 2007 her passion for the arts was reignited and she fell in love with screenwriting. She wrote "Going the Distance", an action film and "The Debt" earning her eleven awards internationally.
"Going the Distance" garnered her the attention of a Writer's Guild signatory agent in L.A.
Her feature script "The Debt "and TV Series, "Secrets in Plain Sight" are attached to Thorny Devil Productions.
She has also been a participant of the Film Accelerator Pod and then invited to be a co-developer in the Film and TV Accelerator Pod through Screen Canberra spanning 2018/2019/2020.
In 2020/21/22 she won Inside a Professional Writers Room with Easy Tiger Productions and was a selected participant of Inside and Online Writers Room with Peter Mattessi through Screenworks, Australia. Michelle also won a meeting with Matchbox Pictures, Managing Director, Alastair McKinnon. Matchbox Pictures Scripted Department praised her as a capable and assured writer, with a strong understanding of structure, world building and character dynamics, with an ability to work across genres.
Her adventures abroad and natural curiosity keep her busy producing more content.
