Plans and preparations are underway for King Charles III’s coronation on May 6. Some of the questions surrounding the event were about whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be attending and who will be featured on the Buckingham Palace balcony with the new monarch. Well both of those questions have been answered as we now know Harry will attend the ceremony without his wife and the working royals will stand on the balcony with the king.
But for a few of those working royals, this appearance will likely mark one of the last times we’ll see them and therefore will be a final curtain call and thank you for their service.

There have been several questions over the years about the British royal family’s protocols and who is supposed to do what and if any of them acceptable to break. Well what Prince William did with his eldest child, Prince George, more than once was something Queen Elizabeth II never wanted him to go against. And according to a royal author, William drew the ire of his grandmother and received some harsh words from the late queen over his decision.

Once upon a time Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William, and the Princess of Wales (formerly Kate Middleton) were dubbed the “Fab Four.” But now that the Sussexes are non-working royals and their rift with the Waleses has deepened, William and Kate appear to have found another couple to join them as the “New Fab Four.”

Andrew Garfield was apparently overheard telling off local residents for “distracting” him while filming in London.
The Amazing Spider-Man star is currently shooting the romcom We Live In Time with Florence Pugh in south-west London.
Garfield was filming a scene outside a block of flats, with local residents who lived in a flat opposite gathering at the window to watch filming taking place.
However, one of the housemates told The Daily Telegraph that Garfield “called ‘cut’ as soon as he saw the group” before asking to talk to them through the window.
Remaining anonymous, the resident told the publication that the group had initially “rushed over to the window, and there’s four of us in the house vying for position in front of one window, pushing each other out of the way – it was a bit silly”.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leaving the royal family has created distress amongst the family. Many of the royals gathered together for Easter Sunday in 2023, but a body language expert noticed that the family members appeared to naturally divide into two distinct groups. Here’s who fell into which group and where Princess Eugenie, the outlier, seemed to stand.

Princess Charlotte is a royal “spare” and second child like her uncle Prince Harry. But she might have an easier time with the role than he did.
While public interest around Charlotte is exceptionally high, like her mom Kate Middleton, things were different for Harry as a child in the ’90s. Plus, her future role in the family could carry different expectations, including having a job and life outside of being a royal.
Here’s why we think Charlotte might have it easier as a “spare” than Harry did.

Curiosity about William’s life comes naturally as the heir to the throne. But the death of Princess Diana following her divorce came with a widespread interest in the ongoing lives of both her sons.

King Charles III's coronation is around the corner, and little by little, plans are being revealed. As well as Camilla being crowned alongside the king, we also know that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will have starring roles in the coronation procession, not to mention the UK has been given an extra bank holiday over the May 6 weekend, too. There's set to be a coronation concert the following day, and supermarkets have already begun launching limited-edition coronation-themed food. But how much do you really know about what a coronation actually means?
The upcoming coronation will be the first in living memory for many onlookers, as the last ceremony of this kind took place in 1953 for the late Queen Elizabeth II's coronation. While we know it marks a change in the monarchy, what is the point of the ceremony? Isn't Charles already the king? And who pays for the grand ceremony?...

Veteran broadcaster David Dimbleby has turned down the chance to play a role in the BBC’s coverage of the King’s coronation, according to reports.
The BBC’s coverage of the 6 May event will be led by Kirsty Young, 54, in a studio outside Buckingham Palace, with Huw Edwards, 61, and Clare Balding, 52, providing commentary.
Dimbleby, 84, was offered a role in the coverage, according to a report in The Times, but opted against playing “second fiddle” in the presenting lineup.
The Independent has contacted Dimbleby’s representatives for comment.
It is not clear what exactly Dimbleby’s role would have entailed, but it signals a shift from tradition: his father Richard covered the funeral of George VI in 1952 and Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation the following year.

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have not yet confirmed if they will attend King Charles III’s coronation. Many royal watchers believed that Harry and Meghan’s attendance depended on whether a list of demands they had would be met. This speculation began after the Duke of Sussex said during an interview in January that a lot needed to be discussed and he hoped his family would have those talks with him before he committed to going.
While the king is said too busy to organize a meeting with his youngest son before the event on May 6, another demand the couple reportedly put forth is to be featured with their children on the Buckingham Palace balcony following the coronation ceremony. That demand too has been denied, and now Prince Harry’s biographer believes the Sussexes are “furious” they won’t be included in that big moment.

Prince William and Kate Middleton's youngest child, Prince Louis, made his royal Easter debut on April 9. The 4-year-old prince joined his parents, as well as his big brother, Prince George (9), and big sister, Princess Charlotte (7), for the royal family's annual visit to church on Easter morning. King Charles III is keeping up with tradition this Easter holiday. On Sunday, the monarch and his family will celebrate the first Easter holiday without Queen Elizabeth II, who died in September at the age of 96.
Like years prior, Charles will be joined by the immediate members of the royal family for church service at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. The monarch will also have his wife, Camila, Queen Consort, by his side.
According to People, Prince William and Kate Middleton will be in attendance. It has not been confirmed if their children, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 5, will be there. Last year, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge surprised royal watchers as they were joined by Charlotte and George — who wore coordinating blue outfits as they made their debut.

Prince Louis is the youngest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton. During past royal events, Louis has played up to the cameras, acting out in a very unroyal albeit adorable manner. However, his past behavior could exclude Louis from his grandfather, King Charles’ coronation, an event rich in historical significance. This is why Prince Louis may not attend alongside his parents and older siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Looks like Prince Louis‘ invitation to his grandfather, King Charles III’s, coronation might get rescinded. The 4-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton made a stir back in June 2022 at the Platinum Jubilee celebrations for his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and the memory is still fresh for his family.
A royal source tells Et that William and Kate will be making a decision about whether Louis will be attending his grandfather’s coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6, closer to the time of the service.
During the Platinum Jubilee, Louis was spotted sticking his tongue out, shouting, and making silly faces during multiple public appearances.
He did not attend Queen Elizabeth II’s September funeral, though his older siblings, Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 7, were present.
However, in December 2022, Louis seemed to be on his best behavior making his royal Christmas debut at the Church of St.
