The job of a voice actor, particularly in the anime world, is not easy. They have to go through every emotion and portray it exactly like the characters in the series. This was experienced by Natsuki Hanae, the voice actor for Tanjiro Kamado in one of the most popular anime and manga series, Demon Slayer.
Demon Slayer Mugen Train
Hanae has voiced a lot of characters in the anime industry, like Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul, Korai Hoshiumi in Haikyu!!, Vanitas in The Case Study of Vanitas, Gremmy Thoumeaux in Bleach, etc. But he has earned the most recognition because of his portrayal of Tanjiro, as it is probably his best performance as of yet.
Hanae once revealed that he had developed a legitimate fear while filming Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba—The Movie: Mugen Train because of the intensity and depth of emotions in the movie. He was afraid...

Yoko Taro's acclaimed and immensely popular video game “NieR Automata” is reimagined by A-1 Pictures and Ryouji Masuyama into the anime “NieR:Automata Ver1.1a”. Combining several layers of the extensive lore of the game series, the production not only adapts the narrative of the game but also a stage play, making the anime just one piece of a larger multimedia project.

In the early days of the Academy’s animated feature Oscar, there were questions as to whether enough films would qualify each year for the award to be given. Not anymore! This year sees a record number of contenders across a wide variety of genres, styles and audiences, from serious, adult-targeted films (like “Charlotte” and “Eternal Spring”) to boffo offerings from Hollywood’s top toon studios — and that doesn’t even count such anime franchise sensations as “One Piece Film: Red” and “Jujutsu Kaisen 0,” which didn’t submit but further illustrate the vitality of the form.

There’s more warmth than wisdom in the animated Japanese coming-of-age drama “Fortune Favors Lady Nikuko,” an exceptionally well-realized variation on a by-now familiar anime story: a young girl learns how to love herself and her life in a picturesque seaside town.
The typically impressive craftsmen at the Japanese animation studio Studio 4°C have successfully highlighted the most endearing parts of this mother-daughter dramedy, which is as much about going through puberty as it is about accepting a parent or guardian for who they are.
Director Ayumu Watanabe and supervising animation director–character designer Kenichi Konishi (“Children of the Sea”) capture the halting rhythms and awkward splendor of daily life in a small port town. That makes all the difference in this story about a shy pre-teen who learns not only to look forward to her adolescence, but also how to empathize with her embarrassing single mother.
