Coulda, shoulda, woulda. How often The Voice’s Season 14 coaches must be muttering those three words as the remaining members of their teams prepare to perform again on Monday (NBC, 9/8c).
It isn’t that there’s not tremendous talent in the Top 10 — there is. It’s just that, at this turning point in the competition, Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson have to be doing at least a little of what we are, and scratching their heads over their past decisions that sent packing contestants who had the makings of real contenders. In particular, I regret...

Who is Britton Buchanan's girlfriend? The 18-year-old has been melting hearts of teenage girls across America during his stint on NBC's The Voice, but the blonde crooner only has eyes for one lady! During the Top 11 live performances, fans got to choose which song they'd like their favorite to cover and Britton's fans chose the sweet love song "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran — and dedicated his performance to his beautiful girlfriend, and former The Voice contestant Livia Faith. Britton even flew Livia out so that she could sit in the audience while he performed the song just for her. The young couple met during the blind auditions as they both embarked on their journeys on The Voice, and they both ended up on coach Alicia Keys' team. Unfortunately, Livia did not make it very far in the competition — she was sent home during the Battle Rounds when she went up against Terrence Cunningham.

Before we dive into the reviews of Monday’s performances by The Voice’s Top 12, let’s have a moment of silence, why don’t we, for the vocalists that we only wish were still in the contest. For me, it’s Kelsea Johnson, who never just sang a song, she put on a show. For some of you, it’s Wilkes, who’d earned the right to spell his name in all caps; for others, Terrence Cunningham, who’d perhaps gotten weighed down by his big bag of tricks. Whichever coulda-been-a-contender it is that you were missing Monday, you...

Alicia Keys is hoping that third time as a coach on “The Voice” is a charm. She won her second turn as a mentor, with her artist Chris Blue taking the title in season 12. Two seasons later, she is back with the strongest team of the four coaches. We asked you which of the three artists still on her team could take the season 14 title on this NBC reality competition series.
Your favorite, with an impressive 55% of the vote is Britton Buchanan. That isn’t so surprising given that he won the first public vote when the Top 24 performed on April 16. Keys’s personal pick, Christiana Danielle, has the backing of 21% of our readers.

Alicia Keys is favored to win “The Voice” for a second time as she heads into the Top 12 on season 14 of “The Voice” with the strongest team of the four coaches. This Grammy winner is rivaled only by rookie coach Kelly Clarkson, according to our readers. These savvy viewers see the two veterans of this reality competition series — Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — as lagging well behind.
As with the other three coaches, Keys saw her team of six cut down to three during the Top 24 round that just ended. We have compiled a power ranking of the contestants now on Team Alicia Keys. These would-be winners are listed from best to worst based on: their reception in the Top 24, knockouts, battles and blind auditions; the resulting sales of their tracks on iTunes; and the votes of viewers like you.

Alicia Keys could well win “The Voice” for a second time as she heads into the Top 12 on season 14 of “The Voice” with the strongest team of the four coaches. Wednesday’s Night 3 of The Voice’s Season 14 Live Playoffs was the end of the line for a dozen contestants. Not only did Team Kelly and Team Adam again sing for their lives, but the results of both Tuesday and Wednesday’s voting were revealed, and all four coaches had to play favorites, choosing one last singer to advance to the Top 12. For Alicia, this promised to be especially difficult; if TVLine’s Tuesday poll proved to be an accurate predictor of the overall voting, Jackie Foster was going to be moving on, leaving her coach with a Sophie’s choice between Terrence Cunningham,...

Not that every member of Team Blake and Team Alicia needed a do-over, but Night 2 of The Voice’s Season 14 Live Playoffs nonetheless gave them all a second chance to garner enough (East Coast) votes to advance. “The Voice” coaches Kelly Clarkson and Alicia Keys recently took some time away from NBC’s reality TV competition to sing a sexy Las Vegas-style version of “Feeling Good.” In the vintage black-and-white performance, the female coaches were all smiles as they belted out Michael Buble‘s hit single. The video, which has been available online for weeks, was featured on Tuesday’s recap episode of “The Voice” that highlighted the Top 24 artists of Season 14. In case you missed it, watch Clarkson and Keys’ duet above.

Cue the bell — Monday’s episode of The Voice brought to an end Season 14’s Knockout rounds. But did it suggest a frontrunner going into the Live Playoffs? Before it, the contestants had surprised us over and over again, sometimes in a positive way (for instance, Kyla Jade emerging from her shell to own Lesley Gore), sometimes not so much (Terrence Cunningham making something bad of “Tell Me Something Good”). So maybe it remained too early to start predicting who’d win — we were still learning who was going to be able to perform at a consistently high level. (That said,...

The fourth and final episode of “The Voice” devoted to the make-or-break battle round shortchanged viewers by only showing three of the six duets in full. And just like that we are done with “The Voice” battle rounds for Season 14. The episode for tonight will be just one hour, so that means some actual battle pairings will be seen and others will unfortunately be abbreviated to almost non-existent. Alicia Keys returned as a coach on season 14 of “The Voice” fresh from a win. In her second stint as a mentor, she propelled Chris Blue to victory last spring. One of the keys to her success was choosing the right artists at each stage of the competition. This season’s battle rounds begin on March 19 and Keys must choose which six contestants on her team to take through to the next round, the knockouts. To assist her in making these tough decisions, Keys has brought in teen heartthrob Shawn Mendes as an advisor. He certainly understands the pressures facing these would-be stars.
We have done some digging and discovered the match-ups of the 12 artists on Team Alicia Keys. We recap these below, including the songs that each of these contestants performed in the blind audition episodes that brought them to this point in the competition.

Alicia Keys is batting .500 as a coach on “The Voice.” In her debut on season 11, she shepherded We McDonald to a third place finish (Blake Shelton coached the winner Sundance Head while Adam Levine had runner-up Billy Gilman on his team). I She won season 12 with Chris Blue over Shelton’s singer Lauren Duski. This Grammy winner is hoping that third time is once again the charm in season 14.

Season 14 of “The Voice” just wrapped six nights of blind auditions and all four coaches now have their initial teams of 12. Which coach do you think has assembled the strongest roster of artists this cycle: rookie Kelly Clarkson, one-time champ Alicia Keys, three-time winner Adam Levine or six-time victor Blake Shelton? Vote in our poll below and then be sure to sound off on your favorite coach and artist in the comments section.
Each of these initial teams is comprised of a dozen artists from around the country who inspired at least one coach to hit their button and turn during the blind auditions. Next up are the battle rounds, where the coaches will pit pairs of artists against each other to determine who will advance and who’ll be sent home. It’s at this stage that the judges are allowed to steal three artists from their rival coaches.

Buuut that may only be true for you. My track record in that area is, if we’re being super-mega-generous, godawful. My first season recapping the show, Felicia Temple was my pick based on the Blinds. (Go ahead and say it: Felicia who?) Last year, my post-Blinds pick was so embarrassing, I can’t bring myself to remind you who it was. (Ok,...
