Sometimes, there’s little better than settling down to watch a good old-fashioned romantic comedy. A will they, won’t they, where you know they will, but believe that maybe they won’t. Step forward What’s Love Got to do With It?, penned by Jemima Khan, with romantic leads Lily James & Shazad Latif bringing the story and characters to life, in this cross-cultural tale.
We had the pleasure of taking part in a mega-junket for the film as we spoke to James and Latif about their in-build bond they have from years of friendship, and how that benefits the finished product, while we also discuss the creation of this story with screenwriter Khan, as well as the venerable director Shekhar Kapur. We also have a funny chat with Asim Chaudhry and Jeff Mirza as they talk us through their inspirations, and, well, dogging, while finally we speak to the...

He also noted “changes” and “reforms” that he feels are making the nation a more hospitable place to visit.

ReigningI’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here champ, Emmerdale actor Danny Miller, has shared his verdict on Matt Hancock’s participation in the new series.
On Tuesday (1 November), it was reported that the MP, who resigned as health secretary in 2021 after violating his own Covid regulations, would be entering the Australian jungle for the new series.
His participation was inadvertently confirmed by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, whose official spokesperson condemnned Hancock’s decision to join the reality show.
Miller appeared on Good Morning Britain on Friday (4 November), where he was asked for his views on Hancock’s controversial decision to sign up to the show.
In 2021, the public constantly selected DJ and music producer Naughty Boy to take part in the Bushtucker Trials – and Miller, who plays Aaron Livesy in the ITV soap, thinks Hancock will be in the same position.

Studiocanal and Working Title have unveiled the official trailer for Shekhar Kapur’s keenly anticipated cross-cultural British romantic comedy “What’s Love Got to Do with It?”
The film will have its world premiere as a gala presentation at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 10.
It follows documentary-maker and dating app addict Zoe (Lily James), for whom swiping right has only delivered an endless stream of Mr. Wrongs, to her eccentric mother Cath’s (Emma Thompson) dismay. For Zoe’s childhood friend and neighbor Kaz (Shazad Latif), the answer is to follow his parents’ example and opt for an arranged (or “assisted”) marriage to Maymouna (Sajal Aly), a bright and beautiful bride from Pakistan. As Zoe films Kaz’s journey from London to Lahore to marry a stranger, chosen by his parents, she begins to wonder if she might have something to learn from a profoundly different approach to finding love.

The opener of ITV’s Winter entertainment smash I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! lost almost 3M viewers from the previous year when it kicked off last night, matching Strictly Come Dancing’s results show on BBC1.
Last year’s I’m a Celebrity opened in the midst of the second UK lockdown to a mammoth 10.9M viewers, which at that time was the most-watched show of the year and was 600,000 ahead of the 2019 edition.
Last night’s show, which aired from 9pm-10.40pm, was well down in comparison, peaking with 9M and level with the Strictly results on BBC1, according to Barb data supplied by overnights.tv
It was, however, comfortably the most-watched ITV show of the weekend.

When you really break it down, American Idol‘s Hollywood Week is a lot like a trip to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.
Think about it: An army of young dreamers show up with golden tickets in hand, then get pushed to their breaking points until only those with the purest of hearts remain. The simplest things can bind the most unlikely of pairs together at times. For example, Monty Python and the metal band Iron Maiden will be paired for life and beyond now thanks to a single song. The song written by Eric Idle and played during the Not the Messiah (He’s a Very Naughty Boy) and twice in the Broadway musical Spamalot, was a favorite of Iron Maiden’s to play at the end of their concerts to close out the night. Don’t ask why, it would be the last song that many would expect a heavy metal band to play over

The beloved pop legend sold about 100 million albums worldwide during his nearly 40 years of fame, and his estate value is estimated at $125 million — not including the British singer’s art ventures, according to entertainment attorney Donald David, who has represented the estates of Tupac Shakur and TLC’s Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez after their deaths and currently represents the estate of deceased Wu Tang Clan member Russell “Ol’ Dirty Bastard” Jones.

We're annoyed with The X Factor. No, not because of Mason Noise, or because Sinitta wasn't at Judges' Houses, or because of Simon Cowell's eye-wateringly high waistline. Nope, we're annoyed with The X Factor because we're not getting Halloween Week this year.
There's nothing scarier than a hopeful singer nervously belting out a classic while dressed in lycra and cobwebs, but we're going to be denied this pleasure as the contestants instead face the "this is me" theme for the first live show on Saturday. But that doesn't stop us from carving a pumpkin, popping on a witch's hat and reliving these best ever Halloween Week performances:
1. 'E.T.' - Little Mix (2011)

Sam Smith's Spectre song 'Writing's on the Wall' makes history by becoming the first No.1 Bond theme
Sam Smith has officially made history by clinching the first ever No.1 Bond theme.
The singer's Spectre theme 'Writing's on the Wall' has racked up 70,000 sales to finish 13,000 copies ahead of its closest competitor, Justin Bieber's 'What Do You Mean?'.
22 best and worst Bond theme songs ranked: Every single's here, but which are classics and which need their 00 status revoked?
None of the previous 23 Bond themes have ever topped the charts, with Adele's 'Skyfall' and Duran Duran's 'A View to a Kill' coming closest with number two peaks.
"It was such an honour to be asked to write and record 'Writing's on the Wall' and it's incredible that it's become the first number one Bond theme song," Smith told the Official Charts.
"It's been an unforgettable experience working with Barbara [Broccoli] and Sam [Mendes] to become part of this British legacy. I couldn't have done this without...

Kicking off the weekend with a brand new jam, Beyoncé just released her latest track “Runnin (Lose It All)” and it’s yet another massive hit.
The “Bootylicious” babe worked with producer Naughty Boy and Arrow Benjamin, who doesn’t actually come in until after the two-minute mark.
Bey sings, “These four lonely walls have changed the way I feel/ The way I feel, I'm standing still/ And nothing else matters now, you're not here/So where are you? I've been callin' you, I'm missin' you.” Have a listen!

Good things come to those who scream passionately for more Beyoncé music, and here it is, in the form of her first new substantial material (technically Naughty Boy's) since last year's "Ring Off" and "7/11" (as well as some other features). Naughty's "Runnin'" pairs Bey's hallowed pipes with those of the electrifying Brit singer Arrow Benjamin; the result is a very unsurprisingly earworm-y duet. As for the video, the people in it are as deep as the song (thankfully, though, they are also like Tom Cruise in Rogue Nation).

Is that what we think we hear? Could that really be Beyoncé's singing voice? Your ears certainly aren't playing tricks on you. The "Crazy in Love" crooner is back and surprising fans yet again thanks to a new collaboration with Naughty Boy. In several messages posted on Twitter, the rapper shared snippets of the new track that is expected to be released in full Thursday evening. "If I lose myself, I lose it all / I've outrun the fears that chased, they're standing still," he cryptically tweeted with the hashtag #LoseItAll. "Ain't runnin' from myself no more / Together we'll win it all. I'm ready to face it all." He continued, "Chasing...

This has been the longest 5 months of our lives. There was life before March 25, 2015, and there has been what "life" is since then. That fateful spring day marks the moment Zayn Malik saw what we now know was inevitable, the probable disintegration of One Direction, and he jumped ship first. He walked away from one of the biggest boy band's of late to "be a normal 22-year-old," a.k.a. debut a 'do reminscent of Sisqó, call it off with his girl, and go solo after a messy spat with naughty boy Naughty Boy. Someone's been busy! In the meantime, loyal Directioners are trying really hard to keep it together. Like, they're totally freaking out, because...

It's happening: Zayn has announced that he's finally signed to a new record label, RCA Records, after parting ways with One Direction and Simon Cowell's Syco earlier this year. That's right, your boy has officially gone solo! And he shared the news with Directioners in a series of cheerful tweets, explaining that the reason he left 1D was "for this moment to be given the opportunity to show you who I really am!" And who Zayn really is, it seems, is someone now also signed with Iggy Azalea's manager (as of this week) and reportedly also working with Frank Ocean's producer, Malay. (Sorry, Naughty Boy.) Guess it's time to start the countdown to his first solo album, presumably to be named From A to Zayn. ...

Louis Tomlinson isn't backing down. At a July 28 One Direction concert, the singer was filmed lashing out at a piñata (we've all been there) adorned with record producer Naughty Boy's face. In the video, the 23-year-old looks pretty pleased with himself as he jumps on, and then kicks the fan-made decoration across the stage. Even Liam Payne joins in, laying on the piñata with a huge smile on his face. If you don't remember, the singer was involved in a pretty nasty Twitter feud back in May pinning former 1D bandmate Zayn Malik and Naughty Boy against Tomlinson. After calling out the newfound collaborators for posting a photo together, Naughty Boy slammed...

Slight shade? After exiting One Direction in March, Zayn Malik embarked on his solo career. He briefly collaborated with the controversial producer Naughty Boy, but on Wednesday, July 29, Malik made a much more permanent career choice. “I guess I never explained why I left, it was for this moment to be given the opportunity to show you who i really am! #realmusic #RCA !!” Malik, 22, tweeted. He also posted a photo of himself signing the papers, later tweeting, “#Realme.” One Directioners quickly took offense to the statement, [...]...

The former One Direction boy-bander slammed the producer (real name: Shahid Khan) after Naughty Boy uploaded unfinished music video footage to Snapchat Sunday. The clip, an excerpt from Zayn's cover of Rae Sremmurd's "No Type," shows the 22-year-old singer crooning in collaboration with hip-hop duo Krept & Konan. Zayn was not happy about the leak, and he wanted to make sure the Twitterverse was well aware. "@NaughtyBoyMusic you fat joke stop pretending we're friends," he tweeted. "No one knows...

The task of transforming a popular movie into a stage musical is a tough challenge that has brought successes (Billy Elliot), and disappointments (Made in Dagenham), so Gurinder Chadha's idea of bringing her 2002 film Bend It Like Beckham to the West End was an intriguing one.
The majority of the feel and the plot of the original film remains in the musical. Set in suburban west London, it focuses on Jess, who worships David Beckham and has a desire to play football that doesn't fit in with her Punjabi Indian parents' plans.
She secretly plays for her local women's football team and soon falls in love with coach Joe, which creates a difficult love triangle with her best friend Jules, a role which helped transform Keira Knightley into an international star.
The film's musical leaning lends itself well for a musical adaptation, and composer Howard Goodall and lyricist Charles Hart...

Well, it was only a matter of time before we heard Zayn Malik's voice sans his former One Direction mates. The 22-year old can be heard alongside U.K. rapper Mic Righteous on a new track that popped up today of a cover of Rae Sremmurd's "No Type," a leak that immediately stirred up some controversy on social media between Mic Righteous and producer Naughty Boy. Naughty Boy seemed to be taking a jab at the leaked song, tweeting, "just wait for the real one you won't be disappointed." The reported merger between satellite pay-tv provider Dish and telecom company T-Mobile Us — said to be in talks — is soon to be official, Meridian Advisory Group (Mag) Managing Partner Shahid Khan told TheWrap on Thursday. And Khan expects the company combination to fly through the customary regulatory review. “The odds of getting this approved are quite high,” Khan said. “With DirecTV-at&T and Charter-Time Warner Cable deals in the pipeline, the entire pay-tv-telecoms industry is going to go through a major transformation — and the regulators will need to review them with an industry-wide perspective.” Khan said he expects additional deals to come over.

Well, this isn't going to sit well with One Direction fans. Although Zayn Malik has said time and time again that he left the famous boy band because he wanted to live life as a "normal 22 year old," people won't accept that as a reason. Now that he has been spotted in the studio with producer Naughty Boy, many have speculated that he left to launch his solo career. But behind all of the rumors and hearsay, there has always been the thought that Perrie Edwards, Malik's fiancée, could be to blame, and according to Liam Payne, that's exactly the reason. In an interview with Capital FM, as quoted by the Daily Mail, Liam seemed to confirm the thoughts that have plagued every...

The boys of One Direction are setting the record straight about Zayn Malik's abrupt departure from the band. The four remaining boy banders -- Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson -- stopped by "The Late Late Show" on Thursday, marking their first talk show appearance as a quartet. "Are you in touch with him?" host James Corden asked. "Have you spoken to him?" "I mean, yeah, there's been a bit of back and forth," Tomlinson said, subtly referring to his Twitter feud with Zayn and producer, Naughty Boy. "I think we're on good terms with him." "I've never been very good at biting me tongue," Louis admitted. "Maybe I get it off me mom. It's just one of those things. Twitter's great for connecting with the fans, but also if you feel like saying something you probably shouldn't, it's also good for that as well—or bad in this case.

The four remaining members of One Direction sat down for a candid interview on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Thursday. James asked Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne about how they've been doing since former member Zayn Malik decided to quit the band in March, and they revealed it's been a bit of an adjustment. "At first, we were a little bit angry, obviously. We were surprised," Liam admitted. "But we all kind of knew the general vibe that Zayn was feeling. You could sort of tell. There was certain parts of the job that Zayn loved and certain parts that he didn't. If you don't like your job, you have to follow your heart sometimes and go where you need to go. There's no arguing with that. Like I said, we were angry at first but then it was just more disappointed. But...
