In 2006, he founded LES PRODUCTIONS DU MOMENT, a production company that now boasts a catalog of 150 documentaries and major reports broadcasts by the leading television channels in France (TF1, France Télévisions, M6, W9, etc.), in Europe, and for some of the films, worldwide. As an author-director (recent selective filmography): "Docteur Godard, l'homme qui voulait tout quitter" : 4x60 min series, (TF1, France) "La Fraternité" (co-director), 4x52 min series : RTS ( Switzerland, Planète +( France), awarded at Luchon 2023 festival "D'abord ne pas nuire" (France 3) Grand Prix CIRCOM 2022 ( 32 European regional networks association) "L'or et l'argent de la Banque de France" : 60 min, TF1 ( France) "Prison de femmes" and "La vie derrière les murs" 2x60 min : TF1 ( France) "Guy Roux, Les deux pieds sur terre" 2017 (France 3) "Naître ou ne pas naître" (2011), France 5, awarded at FIGRA festival
Eric Lemasson began his career at Antenne 2 in 1989. He worked as a reporter and then as a senior reporter in the general news department, followed by foreign politics, and from 1991 to 1997, he was a contributor to the program "Envoyé Spécial". Leaving the France 2 newsroom in 2002, he became the deputy editor-in-chief of "Arrêt sur images" (France 5), and later the editor-in-chief of the program "Forum des Européens" (Arte TV).
In 2021, he conducted a series of long interviews with judge Renaud Van Ruymbeke for the program "A voix nue" on France Culture (radio). Between 2004 and 2017, he regularly contributed to "Le Magazine de la santé" on France 5. He was also one of the hosts of the show series "Les détectives de l'histoire" (France 5) from 2005 to 2009, alongside Laurent Joffrin, Peggy Olmi, and Corine Vaillant.
In 2011, he published "L'Assassinat du docteur Godard" (Les Arènes), reissued in 2016. He is also the author of an unauthorized biography of prefect Marchiani (Le Seuil) in 2000. Between 2009 and 2013, he regularly contributed to the magazine XXI, publishing works such as "Les enfants de la Mère Denis," "Le crayon de Dieu n'a pas de gomme," "Mohamed, l'homme qui sauva le Président," and "Micmac à Mayotte."
